Hi folks,

Since using up my free trials on Jaaxy during the first leg of training,I have stuck to the keyword tool here on WA.

I'd like to hear some opinions on wh

I think it is worth it. The keyword tool is good as well. We need both here on WA.

Thanks Mick

I'm sure having both would be twice as useful for sure!

I appreciate your time :)

At first, start to make money with your website using WA keyword tool. Later on, you will see. Jaaxy is a great one but WA keyword tool works just fine. You do not need Ferrari when you did not learn how to deal with Honda.
All the best, be healthy and wealthy:)

this is some great advice, many thanks Nemira (beautiful name). Let me make full use of the Honda then go for the ferrari once I've earnt it :)

And to you, may you be both healthy & wealthy

Hi Kiswa,

The WA keyword tool does do an awesome job. But I'm a big fan of Jaaxy and I think it's worth every cent. So, I'd say it's not essential, but very worthwhile if it's within your means to purchase.

Hey Tim :)

I'm sure a membership with Jaaxy would be totally worth it, perhaps I'll get it as a celebratory gift for myself when i get my first sale :D

I appreciate the feedback, always.

Sounds like a great idea, and you are very welcome! :)

If you're not making any real money, I suggest you stick with the WA Keyword Tool, especially if you're not locked in the old prices of Jaaxy. Cheers!

This is a great link Jurgen, thanks for sharing. I also contemplated only putting extra cash into the business once I started making money from it, makes sense.

I'll follow that training ASAP. Thanks again :)

My dear Kiswa, is something I struggled with also but decided to go pro as I have not found something cheaper or better so far. It is a good tool. You can check your rankings etc easily. If jaaxy helps you to get traffic in the near future ,I think you can cover the cost. It's all about knowing what you want also.
It's my opinion though.
Check this webinar if you didn't see it before.

Thanks very much Gift - I don't doubt that premium would be worth it, the glimpse I got on the free trial certainly proved itself.

I'll keep the link you shared here in mind for when I choose to take the membership.

Thanks for your time :)

It may be worthwhile if you find that the free tool is not sufficient and you want more. It is an individual choice based on each one's individual needs and preferences.
Personally, I can manage with the free tool for now, but I can easily see myself going premium on Jaaxy in a not too far future.
I guess you can use the basic rule here as well; don't buy anything unless you know you need it.
(PS: This rule does not apply on cell-phones and clothes :) )

I'll keep that in mind J, i appreciate the feedback. I had been thinking of staying with the WA tool until i started earning with my website - you know, feed into the business with what i get from it. I certainly see myself using it in the future but there's no rush too.

Thanks again,
Kiswa

It is a dilemma you will run into many times as you pursue an online career; When to buy tools.
Should you wait until you make money, or should you buy the tool because it will help you make money?
Sometimes you have to spend money to make money, and the hard part is knowing what tools will make the most difference on your progress.

Well said. I certainly feel stuck in this one, I intend on going yearly within the next few weeks so we'll see how I'm feeling about it then too.
I appreciate the advice

First of all welcome back. I would start over with the lessons, unless you think there is not a need. Concerning which niche to pursue, I would recommend the new niche, providing you have a passion for the subject. I find that when you do not have the passion, then after a few posts you begin to find excuses for why you can not create content.

Thanks Mr Brown :) it's certainly good to be back. I appreciate your advice and i think it may be a good idea to start from scratch.

Thank you for taking the time to get back to me

I was gone for 3-4 months before I returned and started the course all over. After that, I wasted no time and started a website. I pushed myself to get it going and in the process, I realise it is about showing up daily.
Regarding niche, I would say you should follow your passion. If outdoors is your interest, blog about outdoor activities such as hikes, vacations, mountain climbing etc.

You can monetise it later once you figure out what advice, value you want to share with your readers. There are probably affiliate programs for most products out there.

Thanks for the feedback JooKwang, I'm getting the ball rolling

That's great. Keep moving forward. :)

Start with your new niche. The training applies to any niche so there is no need to begin the training again unless you feel you need to refresh yourself on the training.

That's the great thing about the training you can go back to it and at any point in the training.

Thanks very much, I appreciate the help!

I'm very much aware that this differs for everyone based on dedication and time commitment etc. but I'd love to hear, how long after starting the training in WA did you receiv

The answer depends on how long it takes you to get a website launched with at least one affiliate offer and a promotion campaign of some kind going. It will also depend on what method you use to drive traffic, whether paid or organic. Paid traffic is quickest.

And how long would all that roughly take based on my time commitment (of which i could actually double, come to think of it) along with paid traffic?

I don't know how focused you can stay or how quickly you work, but at 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, that's 40 hours over 2 weeks, if you can stay focused and have an action plan where you can tick items off your list moving toward a completion goal, I would think you could be ready to start test ads in that time. Get your ducks lined up, as it were, by creating an action plan.

First, decide what your affiliate offer is going to be. Get your offer ready, including the lead magnet and any bonuses you will include. Next, get the website set up with at least one blog post about the product in the offer, such as a review of the product. Set up the download for the lead magnet.

Then set up your offer funnel. Remember to write the thank-you page! You'll need to have your autoresponder ready to accept signups and you need to write an email series to engage with your new customers. Decide if your ads will feature images or video and prepare that. Finally design your test ads and start running them.

This could be done in 2 weeks, but I'd suggest 4 weeks to allow for distractions, interruptions and design alterations. I'd love to know how it goes!

Kind regards

Oh wow! I cannot thank you enough, this is the best possible response I could've asked for! Very detailed and given me an idea of what to expect. I'm not out to "get rich quick" but was merely curious about what it would take to earn in a reasonable amount if time, with focus and commitment, as you say.

Has what you've mentioned taken into considered the courses on the Entrepeneurship Certification or is this informstion you've given based on completion of the course? Are there any additional courses you would recommend I take/blogs to read which could help me further?

Thanks again!! This is fantastic

Your follow-on question is most apt! My response to your opening question assumes you have completed enough course material to understand the entire process of promoting an affiliate offer. My time estimate is a best-case scenario, and not likely to play out so quickly in actuality. Notice that after figuring the quickest possible time to completion, reasonable only if you are already confident in what you are doing, I then doubled the estimate.

(In my electronic engineering days, we had a saying that in estimating lead time, double the number and then use the next higher units. If you think it'll take one day, you tell your boss or client two weeks. One hour becomes two days. Then when you come in earlier than that, you're a hero!)

Be aware of what I call the "course trap". Many of us (I've done it too!) take course after course because we want to be sure we're learning everything we need to know before launching our venture. We don't want to overlook anything, and It's easy to feel like we're accomplishing something because the course is related to our goals. But is it generating revenue? At some point, we have to say enough study, time to build this out and get that revenue stream flowing!

Another common trap is the concept of "perfect". Your lead magnet, pre-frame, bridge, etc, however you set up your funnel, don't have to be perfect, and won't be perfect. That's what split tests are for, but you can't do split testing until you launch. Get it out there and then work on polishing the act. Make a punch list of all the essential components needed as infrastructure to support the offer, and tick them off one by one as you complete them.

the information and advice you have provided is golden, there's a lot more I'm yet to learn as I've only completed the first course.

I have read some of your blogs and part of your story - i absolute love the content you share here and how much it impacts several of us members. Your progress has been astonishing and you really seem set on your growth and development within Affiliate Marketing. I am 100% supportive of you - truly inspired!

Many thanks again for sharing some of your wisdom - i may well be messaging you again soon for some advice :)

Strive on!

Millie

PS. I enjoyed your old saying for estimated completion time! I'm going to start using it.

Thank you for the great feedback. It's my pleasure to help. :)

As you complete each course, it's important to put your new knowledge to work for you. Take action.

You are right: I am determined to succeed at this (I'm very close), and I'll be very happy to share my stories as the revenues start to flow.

Contact me anytime. I'm eager to see you succeed too!
