So I was doing some Alphabet Soup in Jaaxy. I saw a nice keyword so I clicked on Find Data.

I just ran few keywords in Jaaxy and it seems be working fine. There might have been a glitch in the system.

How should I interpret these jaaxy results?

So I was thinking of hiring someone to go out and take product pictures in shops, so I can use them in my review.

This way I have genuine pictures and don't run the risk

There is no problem using pictures you have taken yourself. The only problem you may have is how the store owner might feel.

If they have no problems with you taking pictures of their products for sale, then go for it.

Makes sense. Thanks!

Robert, I've found what appears to be official product pictures of a manufacturer, but when I search this picture on Google it does not find any match. However, I do see that the picture is being used on several websites, but not the manufacturer's site.

Could this be an official press kit picture and am I allowed to use this? I would assume I don't have the rights to use this...

It looks like it could be a press kit photo.

Normally the first text in your post is used as the excerpt. The problem is that I'm using Kyle's template on how to create a review and therefor my excerpt text is pretty much

I liked your post just the way it is. Why do you need to select specified text to be used as the excerpt of a post?

Hey Allan,

Thank you, yes I think the post itself is fine. However if you go to my homepage, where the blogroll is, you'll now see a much better readable description of the specific posts. Thanks to Pj :)

Before yesterday, it displayed the information in the beginning of the posts in a non-formatted way. Not really engaging and readable.

I've still got to update a lot of my reviews. So if you look at page 2, you'll probably gonna see the old format. But I'm gonna fix that today :)

Cheers!
Jurgen

Change your format.

The excerpt will always be the words at the beginning of the post. Write a paragraph or two before you put in the details so they'll have to open the post to read the statistics.

Hi Marion, seems we both learned something today ;)

I sure did, thanks to Pj

Yes, that's exactly what I do. Under the post (within the post Editor) there should be an Excerpt box. Whatever you put in there, will be used on the blogroll.

Hey Pj, thanks for answerring!

I don't have an excerpt box. I only have the description box from All in One SEO. I tried putting text there, but it's only used for the search engines.

Are you maybe using a plugin?

In the upper-right corner of your Editor. Click the Screen link and it will pull-down some options. See if there is an Excerpt option and check that box next to it. See attached.

Awesome Pj! Thanks! I can finally start correcting my excerpts for all my reviews :)

Cheers!
