Super Affiliate Challenge 2019 Update

Last week I made the commitment to achieve something special at Wealthy Affiliate.

I've been here since 2016 and I haven't achieved anything like others that joined at the same time for a number of reasons. The reasons don't matter because they've had the same opportunity that I have and they've achieved amazing things.

Oh okay then, the reasons are:

• I'm super busy juggling being a full-time almost-single parent with housework and freelance work to pay the bills.
• I have a grass-hopper shiny-thing-loving mind that failed to focus on just one website whilst applying the training here.

The reasons are kind of important because identifying why I haven't achieved is the first step to actually getting there. The simple answer is:

I LACKED FOCUS.

So, I did the scariest thing I could think of to make things happen. I asked Kyle if I could join the Super Affiliate Challenge.

I know it's hard work and I know it means I have to focus on one website and that is absolutely awesome!

This week I have experienced a clarity I've lacked since I started on my WA journey. To some of you this will seem ridiculous because you've always been able to focus on just one thing but I'm sure there's plenty of you out there that totally get where I'm going from.

My SAC Goals

Besides all the other tasks to acheive before the 20th May (10 days and counting) I've made a goal to write 10 articles, totalling 15000 words. I'm going to have to get crazy productive to meet that goal because I've only got 10 days left!

Because I joined the challenge a few weeks late, I'm going to cut myself a little slack - realistically I'm probably going to struggle to get 10 articles written in 10 days but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to try.

What I've achieved so far

I've already achieved a whole bucket load since I started the SAC. Of the 19 tasks for this month, I've managed to acheive 15 of them.

The one I'm most excited about is that I've overhauled my bootcamp website, improved the theme, it has a logo and look that I love and I optimised the heck out of it so it loads super fast.

I've never had a site load so quickly - I'm really fired up at the thought of visitors visiting my page and, BAM it's there, waiting to be read. :)

Kyle is so right about getting the framework right at the beginning - I'm so excited about my new site that I can't wait to write the content for it.

I'm hoping that I'll keep that excitement as the challenge progresses!

Inspiring posts this week

Special mention should go out to a couple of WA members that have truly inspired me this week and stoked the flames of my enthusiasm even higher.

I'm grateful to Paul for his encouragement to join the SAC. He knew I needed a big push to achieve my dreams and I really appreciate his gentle encouragement to step out of my comfort zone. I'm hoping we can support each other to make it to the end!
If you haven't already, you should read his blogs. They're inspiring to read because in spite of his humility there is a clear determination to find success. I particularly enjoyed his recent update about the Super Affiliate Challenge.

I'm also grateful to Tiffany for her latest inspiring post. Although it was a post talking about her amazing performance that month, it was her story that inspired me the most because where she'd come from sounded rather like my current situation.

I'm back in the Top 200

It was a nice surprise to see this pop-up when I logged in today.

I've been here before and it's awesome to be back because it's a sign I'm moving in the right direction.

I'm focused on achieving something and I'm helping others to do the same.

I love the Wealthy Affiliate community - there are so many awesome people here.
