Super Affiliate Challenge 2020 - Week 5
Aaaaaaargh! Only two weeks until the end of this first month's Challenge! Don't panic!
Seriously, I am comfortable with where I am. I'm not saying it has been easy, but until I can make this my full-time job, it is always going to be a challenge to get in enough hours to keep up with all the tasks. Coffee! I need lots of coffee!
Help is Never Far Away
Going into Live Chat every day is two-pronged! I go on to help someone, and lo and behold, I learn something new! Twice in the last 30 minutes in Chat.
I learned that the 'Unanswered' Questions are on the Dashboard page. Scroll down, and there they are! You can also 'pin' this to the top of your Dashboard, which I have now done.
Secondly, to quickly find your website SERPS, go to Jaaxy Site Rank, and instead of searching for keywords rank, related to your URL, enter your website name (without the "https://" and ".com"), continue to add your URL as normal. It was nice to see my site on page one, multiple times, including my Facebook page! How cool is that?
Writing, Writing, and more Writing.
Not only have I been blogging here in WA but I have kept up my two articles per week for my Bootcamp (SAC) website. I set a goal for three, but that didn't happen! It takes me way too long to research and edit. Writing is a breeze! It's all the bits that go with it. I am sure I will improve given time.
Last Seven Days Stats
I'm chipping away at my word goal of 22,500 words. I only have another 7,720 words to go!
My website now has 17 published posts (this includes my "About Me" page). Of those 17, I'm only counting seven articles which I’ve publish since starting the Challenge on the 10th April. Which still leaves me with another five posts, that I still need to write to reach my Challenge for this period (12 articles). I will do it!
Organic Free Traffic
My organic (free) traffic appeared for the first time last week. In the previous four days, I have consistently had single-digit traffic every day, except yesterday (Sunday was a quiet day for searches).
Social Media
In contrast to my quiet day yesterday for my organic searches, my Facebook Ad is going from strength to strength. I received 11 referral clicks (all from Facebook) yesterday, a record!
It's nice see my traffic on an upward trend.
Other Stuff
I went through my WordPress posts and with the help of Yoast, I tidied up some of my earlier ones. All my posts, bar a couple of the oldest, now have two green lights - SEO & Readability!
Talking of green my WA Website Health is much improved.
My keyword List
My keyword list is growing daily. As I'm working and sometimes when I'm not working, I think of new keywords. I write them all down.
Later when things quieten down, I do some Jaaxy checking and refine my list. I am happy, as I always have something to write for my website.
In Summary
I'm learning all the time. I make mistakes. I try it again. I am getting better. I know this, as my Analytics tell me that my site is getting better. Oh! One last thing. I got my first referral yesterday, so not so quiet after all!
I'm looking forward to the next two weeks.

Yes, the learning all the time is important, and we do that in here. I really liked your tip about checking our website in site rank. Will see what happens there. Keep up the excellent progress!

You deserve it - your SAC website is really coming on. I love reading your posts and the enthusiasm you have really shone through your words.
I've found it useful too - I've started bolding words in my posts too - it looks so effective!
Good luck on the remaining 7k! :)
Thanks, Phil.
