I am not sure what this means people becomes members and pay to scam? Aren’t they filtered at all? Like they have to be real people to sign up?

I noticed people without much on their their bio, and I always wonder why?

What do they gain I following other members?

If someone follows me, I reciprocate most of the time. Because, it's the right thing to do.

But, I will, most likely, not follow them back if:


They have little or no profile of substance on their profile page.

OR

They have been a WA member for only a few short months and are already indiscriminately following 5 times the number of members that I follow (and, I've been with WA for over 2 years).


Believe it or not, I've seen newbies who have been a member for less than a month - and they are already following 10,000+ members!

I never follow anybody who does not have a profile of themselves and at least a couple of lines of introduction. That doesn't guarantee they're genuine, but I'd say it's at least 95%.

Thanks Ken Twack just did a post on these as well and they have been reported. Spammers Are Relentless and Spammers Make Me Sad This is a premium members just like last time and creates starter accounts all with the same profile message as you stated.
Thanks for keeping an eye out this is starting to get out of hand over the last few months
