I am still having major issues with this. I find it incredible that I am the only one who is trying to use themes, and that I am the only one having issues. I have a new laptop

The theme preview and the thumbnail don't always look the same. You're comparing apples to oranges in those two screen prints.

These theme previews all come back as a generic wordpress page just with a different image. And you would think that if the preview shows a submit button in the middle as a layover that the wordpress site would too would it not? Should it not resemble the preview somewhat other words all sites look the same?

How the designers present a preview and a thumbnail is up to each individual designer. There are no standards involved. WordPress development is done by a lot of 'amateurs' actually, who just want the notoriety of having a Wordpress theme to validate their Fiverr gig. I'm sorry you're having a poor experience, but you're having the same one as the rest of us are.

So all these theme's are just a standard wordpress page with a different thumbnail?

Yes, they all follow some variation of the framework (CSS), the structure is the same, but features can be coded within that framework (number of columns, font, font sizes, etc.)

right that CSS structure, doesn't work on any theme for me. The columns are the same as above on every theme

I would put in a ticket with Site Support then, it sounds like something is broken with your Wordpress installation - tell them that no matter what theme you install, they all look the same. Hopefully they can get it sorted for you then.

I read that I should be able to auto log into WP from SiteRubix, but I can not seem to find out how. The help topics I have read just say it should be enabled but now how to do

Never mind. Mine's working now. I had to change the DNS and I think it took awhile to change over to WA.

I've been running into the same problem.

If you mean to your website(s) you click on the SiteRubix button on the left side of your screen then click on Site Manager and you should see your site listed.
Then you click on the Login Button directly below the small pic of your site and then the other button that appears to the right.

But it does not Auto Login, when I click said button it takes me to WP login screen asking for username and password.

You should see your login details appear after you click that button directly below your site pic.
At the very least you should see your Admin Login Details.

Yessir I do see those, but Auto-Login would imply that I should be able to hit login and .... well it would automatically log me into my site.

It should and if it isn't letting you then contact Tech Support - thats the last entry on the list when you click on the SiteRubix Button on your WA Dashboard.

Soory noob question I'm sure.

I just bought my domain from GoDaddy a month or so ago so I own it for a few years. If I transfer it do I have to pay for it again or is it

Its still yours and you so not have to pay for it again...you just need to switch the nameservers.

Just go to "Websites and hosting" on the left under "tools."

Then once you click on "Websites and hosting" go up to the top right hand corner and click on Site Support.

Then just ask and they will explain how to switch over your nameservers from go daddy to wealthy affiliate.

You will not be able to transfer the registered domain name for 60 days or more. This is a rule by ICANN, the people who run the domain name system.

At this stage, don't transfer the domain you just bought because to transfer the domain registration, you will have to pay WA the full fee for at least one more year, and that will overlap with what you have already paid.

You should also check the fees at GoDaddy. They might charge an exit fee when you transfer the domain name so soon after 60 days.

As Cathy (Catwoman) says, keep your domain registration account at GoDaddy for renewal there and change the DNS address in your GoDaddy account to point the nameserver to WA Hosting servers.

You can always consider transferring the registered domain name to WA SiteDomains later when you've done your cost calculations.

Thanks! This is EXACTLY what I was afraid of, however I do not have email hosted through godaddy I would have to pay an extra charge for that... and to have email on this platform I need it to be hosted on this platform right? So I guess what I am weighing is the monthly cost of hosting and email will outweigh the cost of just transferring it and paying the $13 bucks. Godaddy has not stated that I would have to pay anything when I clicked for a transfer code, would they have informed me when I did this or are they just going to charge me after the fact... you know "slip" a charge in there?

I believe I am correct on this, is there anything I am missing?

You will get a not available message at GoDaddy if the domain registration has been less than 60 days.

Forget about getting emalis via GoDaddy - an unnecessary expense. Read on...

I assume you have created a Siterubix site? You can move that to be under your own domain by doing this:

Log in to GoDaddy and modify the DNS address to point
your website hosting to WA servers. In your GoDaddy account follow these steps:

1. Under domains, click "Manage".
2. Under additional settings, Click Manage DNS
3. Scroll down to nameserver section, click "Change"
4. Switch the drop down from Default to Custom
and under nameservers, fill in the WA server addresses.

Make sure to spell it correctly!

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

5. Save.

Next, follow Kyle's tutorial to transfer your Siterubix site to your own domain If you don't have Google Account, create one (you will need it for Search Console and Google Analytics further in the training. If you already have a Google account, get a gmail address.)

Then follow Eric's training for setting up your domain emails That's it. All free. No further cost incurred. ~Jude

Thank you very much!

You're welcome. Post again if you hit a snag. :-)

Once you purchase a Domain it is yours for as long as you want it. You can transfer it to be hosted at WA. Here is a tutorial to help you. It is all free with your membership for as long as you are premium. You will need to pay to renew your domain with GoDaddy when that time comes.
