Hello My name is Brandon and that is my wife Nicole in my picture.

I have been working online for 10 years, only 5 of those years really giving it a shot.I have only made spurts of money here and there and have struggled to make consistent money online.

I have chased shiny objects way too much. I'm ready to continue where I left off and start building something of actual value. I'm starting a family and ready to move to full time internet marketer.

I wanted to sign up for this almost 5 years ago, you can see where procrastination gets you.

I feel like I almost have what I need but need to fill in the gaps and learn from this great community that I had heard so much about for a few years. I hope that I can contribute and help others in the same boat. I'm very optimistic about the future using this program and am excited to get to know others with the same goals and dreams.

If your reading this and sitting on the fence, jump off that fence and start taking action you will not regret it by this time next year.

Broken down, this is going to be more than achievable for you (and then some). The internet has over 2 billion people actively search for and buying things online. All you need to do is connect with a few of these people each day to meet your initial goal!

I know with some hard work and persistence you will achieve all of your goals and then be building brand new ones. I am here to help if you ever need anything and you have an entire community rooting for your success here at WA Brandon! :)

Thanks Michael,

I was just curious, if you could possibly answer what you would feel is the best decision to get the ball rolling faster with WA, do you think promoting a "scam/make money/web/online marketing blog or would you suggest going after a tight sub niche first... I have a site right now about sleep apnea cure and treatment and I have been having a hard time ranking it or coming up with content as I don't have it or have a passion for it, but I was selling books in the niche so I decided to build a blog.

I was wondering if promoting a scam/make money/web/online marketing type blog would be harder to rank and take more time or from what you have seen and experienced is promoting W.A .way easier and quicker. I wont hold you to any answer or anything just looking for maybe your 2 cents if you have some time.

Brando, I wish I could give you a good answer for that. I do not know what is the best Niche. If it is something you are familiar with making it easier for you to write good Content about plus you can find Affiliates for it, then that is the Niche that I would go for to start with. Hope this helps some!

Sounds like it has been quite a journey to find your way here to WA Brandon, but I am glad you did.

There definitely are a lot of scams and programs that simply do not teach you what you need to know out there. It sounds like you may have run into one or more of these on your way to making it here at Wealthy Affiliate. I can assure you that much brighter days are ahead now that you have found WA and I really do look forward to working with you.

If you ever need anything at all going forward, I am personally here to help you out so feel free to drop me a reply to this post or you can find me in chat (I am frequent there).

Hi kyle,
Just a quick question.... I already have a host and everything and am looking to start building a site, I am getting that to really utilize this course it would be good to ideally have a "scams online" type blog and a niche of choice blog am I correct on that?.. Just to clarify, do you have to be a premium member in order to do the affiliate program?

Is the premium membership just mainly to allow you to build and host on your site plus other advanced courses or is it necessary for promoting WA?

Thanks Brandon

Sorry, I kinda just figured out the answers to this, I am thinking you can be an WA affiliate even if not premium member, you just make half of what premium makes am I correct on that? I also was thinking back and you said most people that stick to one thing did the best..so sorry I asked to quickly...I kinda figured that out later after asking.

Would ranking a site to promote W.A be the best route to go when starting off on average from what you see or would you feel finding a sub niche blog is easier first to tackle in your opinion? As I want to do both but sometimes I get a little ahead of myself.

I feel like I could do a good scams blog as I have had a lot of experience with that, but I was wondering if they typically can be harder to rank with a tougher competition type thing?

I am not looking for any specific answer necessarily, as I know that can be hard thing to do with a subject like this due to all the variables but just maybe an opinion to help guide my decision possibly?

Thanks Brandon

Yeah, exactly. You get 50% of the commissions if you are Starter, double when you are Premium.

I know if you go premium you absolutely will love it, but at your own pace and I would never suggest that any niche is the wrong choice as any niche can be lucrative. Choose what interests you most Brandon and work from there. :)

I just thought of another quick question when you get around to it...is there a more advanced way of getting a niche later in the course or is is there any more indicators to look for. Is the best and easiest way simply to go to amazon and just find something or d-moz as I have struggled a few times getting into the right niche that is not too competitive but also is something people want. Is the way to do still cross-referencing google keyword tool with amazon products and how many people are selling and if google adwords are up next to google searches for buying words? Cause I feel like I almost have it but I still have picked niches in the past that I either didn't build the site correctly to monetize or found a niche that was a little too advanced for me I know I am messing something up but am not sure what.

Sorry if these questions are a little confusing. also is this ok to ask questions like this here, or is there a better place?

All niches have a ton of opportunity within them. There are 2.8 billion people online and we are all now more connected than ever. This is the audience you are dealing with the Internet and even some of the most obscure niches have millions of people interested in them.

You should read about this here within a blog post I recently created on this exactly topic: YOU make a niche profitable and that is why it is important that you decide on a niche that you are interested in/passionate about. It will make the journey that much more fun and exciting. ;)

I just read that and while I do agree with the logic and I do understand that is possible to make money in any niche...but I have just heard that instead of following you passion which can make only a little bit of money you need to provide a solution to a problem and not worry about passion, as some things people like to do really just are not good enough. maybe this is where I have been going wrong. But for instance I am a jack of all trades master of none type thing...So that has made it hard for me to find that one thing to talk about that I'm passionate about and that has a sea of hungry buyers and not just tire kickers but is not too crowded like "car insurance" or "internet marketing" kinda thing...but i'm assuming this is all in the rest of the training as I thought the free membership gave you access to it all and I thought that was all there was, so when I get the premium I should be able to answer a lot for these questions I'm hoping.

Yeah, focusing on one thing and working to become an expert within that given niche is the clearest path to success. That combined with your focus of helping people (not just promoting), you are going to have a bright journey ahead of you. :)
