If you use text use it in quotes. But have the content thrice of what you have in quote to take care of google rankings. Hope this helps. Lets others also comment
Hi Sridhar, great advice, but I am not sure what you mean by "But have the content thrice of what you have in quote to take care of google rankings".
Could you please give an example?
Thank you and many thanks, JoC for asking the original question.

Hi, I am having trouble that I cannot resolve. When typing key words into my text i.e manage, opportunites, these words turn into capitals and change colour and a little symbol
This is definitely something that you picked up within your online acitivities, it usually comes package with a program or software that you install (sometimes even with anti-virus software itself).
Do know that others are not seeing this adware on your site as it is specific to your computer. I would consider an adware, anti-virus program.
Thanks Kyle, I did run an anti-virus program, which seems to have done the trick. It's good to know that the adware was only specific to my computer, as I was concerned that it would be passed to others via my website.
Sounds like adware scam. Hopefully, this will help

Thank you, I have being cleaning all my programmes but its still appearing on my website. I cannot shift it.
Yes I followed the step by step guidance and run their suggested cleaning programme. I will keep trying and see what happens. But thank you for your time!!
What you could do next is try programs that are focused on malware removal. PLEASE be careful you get a trial or limited version only from renowned vendors. A lot of "malware removal tools" ARE malware.
You should only do this if you are comfortable with it: I would go to the registry and delete any entries related to any name of the parts of this malware. I do not recommend it if you are a computer novice.
This might help : malwarebytes trial (I could not post the link)
If it really is something that digged so deep into your computer that you cannot easily remove it many of the big guys have a program you can store to a medium that is able to start without your operating system. Used to be disks, not USB drives.
If you have a backup it might be the easiest to format your disk and reinstall. I really do not think it is necessary.
Deinstall all programs you do not know. You can see when a program was installed...if I remember Windows right.
I, for one, have switched to a chromebook and am done with malware.
Thanks Aurorasa, a few months ago I did not think I was a computer novice, but I am very much so. The good news is that the new texts I am adding to my website is not affected by the wowcoupon , so the problem has been sorted, I will just have to retype the old text, not the end of the world and thank you again.

If I buy my own domain do I still update my website through Rubix site manager or so I use the hosting site that I will be using. Thank you
after buying my domain site and moving them togeth I now cannot log into either of my sites to finsh working on them how do I reset the log in page
Click the WHITE RESET.
It takes time to see your new website, though. How long has it been?
It could take up to 24 hours.
its been 18 hours I will try again after lunch to day as im out this morning I have also tried the reset button and the only way have gained access is by clicking on forgotten password I dont want to be doing that every time I need to look at my site
You don't need any passwords. When you click the SiteRubix and see your website, click the BLUE LOG IN.
No, let me try another way.
ONLY click Site Rubix, on the left.
Now, SIte Manager.
Now, do you see your website?
When you click to log in, you will see ADMIN and YOUR NAME.
Now, look to the right...ONLY click the BLUE TAB.
You don't need anything else...nothing to remember...nothing to copy/paste.

Hi, last year I was doing some teaching, and a colleague took some pictures of me teaching, The students were aware the pictures were being taken and did not mind. Can I use t
JoC, If you want to use the images to promote your service and you are sure that the other people in the images would not object, then I would use them. I have worked in the photography industry for more than 30 years and it is very unusual for people to object when they see the context the images have been used for. If they are just normal people in a normal setting I don't see a problem.
Now I am confused again. LOL, would really like to use these pictures, I suppose I could Photoshop them where I am in focus and they are out of focus. I know for sure the students wouldn't mind, but I cant get their contact details from the college, due to 'confidentiality'. But thank you for sharing your experience.
By focus I don't mean blurred out, if the image is one where you look and immediately know it's about a teacher you are safe, if you look and it's about a student or group of students you need releases.
Its about nothing else but my experience as a teacher, the shoot is clearly of me teaching and I am the focus of the picture.
A good example would be taking a picture for a blog in the local park. If you bring a friend and take her picture in front of some men playing flag football you would need a release from your friend because she is the focus point but unless your post was a commercial post about flag football you would not need a model release for the men playing ball in the background.
I mean if that were not the case Rolling Stone owes a ton of concert goers some royalties.
Hi Jo, I agree with Scotshot. I did a course on digital media and one of the subjects we covered was copyright. When we used photos of other students (on the websites we were building), we had to get them to sign a model release form. I still think it is quite a grey area.
That's because they were the focal point of a potentially commercial image. The discussion was about bystanders not the focal subject of the image from my understanding.
I understand the boundaries, but sometimes, it doesn't make much sense to me, because I can download a picture of a teacher teaching students and use that, my customers wont know its not me they will assume it is. Which seems more misleading than a picture of my teaching. Anyway I will do as I am told.
If the picture is supposed to be of you teaching you need to take a picture of you teaching but if the image only has to do with the practice of teaching it doesn't matter, you are making no claims to it being you.
Thank you for your response. But if I am advertising my teaching skills, am I not using them for commercial use..i.e I am the product so they are helping me to sell my product.
Hi, You may have taken the photographs so you do have copyright to the images. You should get a model release form signed by each person (if that is possible) without the release you can't use the image to promote a product because you are insinuating that this person or persons are endorsing the product and that you can't do. Get a model release and you are 100% covered.
That only applies if it is a reasonable assumption the party is endorsing the product such as photographing someone drinking a Pepsi and putting it in a comparison review for cola brands or Pepsi review. Even in professional photography bystanders walking on busy streets etc.. are snapped without anyone ever knowing their names. The TV and Print media outlets constantly have people in the frame they never get a signed release from because they are not the subject of the spot, are not endorsing a point of view or product, and the images will not be commercially marketed with these background people as a feature or selling point. I have been doing this over 12 years and I have not had to have a model form for any image I have taken with exception of if I put a human being in it as a focal point.
Here's a good example: www.peopleofwalmart.com where they have been sued numerous times for releasing images where the party involved actually was the focal point. Because they don't directly profit from the images themselves they have won every suit lodged against them.
Since they were pictures you had taken with the parties involved being aware they were being photographed or not you are legal to use the images, you just can't profit from selling the image for commercial use, or making commercial products such as coffee mugs with those images to sell on your site. If a person takes a photo of their spouse at the mall and other people are in the background you do not need written permission to put the photo on your blog.
Thank you BDF. I will have to consider whether its worth the risk...No broken celebrities, well not that I recognised.
Strictly speaking, you need their approval. If they are pictures that they themselves published (say on Facebook) they are public domain. But even then does not necessarily exempt you to use them. It is a "hot topic" on the internet right now.
Personally I doubt if they would object, unless they are broke celebrities and see it as a way to profit. Notice that I am a bit sardonic
