Hello,
I have already stated that I will not be renewing my WA membership as I just don't use it any more. Can anyone tell me what would happen with the domain names I have

You can go here

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

And cancel billing.

For any websites hosted here, you need to arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases, as you would be locked out of the platform, and site support backups are only available for 60 days.

You can never revert to being a starter.

You may reach out to site support for a back up of your websites.(Backup plugins are currently blocked)
.
Also domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.

Hi! I will do my best to answer for you.

You pay once a year for domain names. It will be yours until you cancel the domain name.

You will have 30 days to transfer your website to another host if you plan on keeping your website.

If you pay monthly for membership you wont loose much money. It all depends if you cancel before the next billing.

If you pay yearly for membership you will not get a refund.

Hope this helps!

All the best to you

Thanks Barb22,
I actually pay yearly for my membership which is due on April 1st. I was worried if I cancelled that I would have no access to my domain names as I would no longer be able to login.
I am thinking of going back to monthly payments as this would be easier for me to manage at this time.
I have written to Kyle to ask if this is possible.
I appreciate your help.
Kerry

Your welcome Kerry

I had to renew my domain name in December.
I could be wrong.
Maybe confirm with Kyle.

Hope all works out for you.

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I will be cancelling my membership when it comes up for renewal on April 1st. I really don't use it any more.<

I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended
.
Also domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.

Okay, I find all this very confusing. I know how to cancel my membership but I'm not sure how to backup my website or move it.
I think all of my domains here are older than 60 days, but would I need to move them too, or can I keep them with WA?
I'm sorry, I am so far out of the loop now, but I appreciate your trying to help.

Thank you for that @TheAbie
That looks like it will be very helpful to me.
I somehow think it would be better to move my domain names too.
Thank again.

Hello,
I was wondering if someone can tell me how I can do a withdrawal from my referral account? I have the threshold set to $100 but that has never worked.

Reduce the threshold down to the minimum and you should get your money on the 1st of the month.

Hi Marion, I need to take out the full amount of $263. I have it set to send to paypal at $100 but it has never done it

Like I said: Reduce the threshold down to the minimum and you should get your money on the 1st of the month. If you change it, then it will trigger something.

Marion I need more than $10, I have $263 there which I feel I should be able to withdraw

Thanks Marion, I think I understand now that I should get the whole amount by changing the settings.

Have you got your paypal email set?

Hi Lawrence, yes I do. I had it set to $100 but I do not get paid when it reaches that. I have $263 there now that I would like to take out but I can see no way to do it.

yes I do

Do you need to lower your threshold? The minimum is $10.00 I automatically receive payment in the beginning of the month.

Hi Mick, no, I have $263 there but I'm not sure how to get it out. I have the payment threshold set for $100 but I never get paid.

Do you have the correct PayPal email address listed?

Yes, I do

As Marion mentioned you can try changing the threshold amount. Even if you have it set at the lowest of $10 it will still transfer your full amount. Or try contacting site support

Okay, so if I set it at $10, it will still transfer the whole amount?

Yes, it gives me the full amount.

If you are looking to withdraw money from your referral account you can change your threshold from $100 down to $10.

Hi Boomer, I actually want to take out $263, or at least $260

If you reduce your threshold to $10, you will get all of your money into your PayPal at some point on the first of every month. The time is dependent on where you live.

I did get paid but only $78, I'm not sure why I only got that amount.

Not sure either. Was any of the money in your affiliate account Pending? If not you should contact Kyle.

Click on your profile then go to account settings and its in there

Hello,
I would like to help a friend by building her a website and hosting it for her here, can I do this? If so, can I give them full access to the site?
They have boug

yes, that is how I earned money to pay for my WA membership

Yes that is a very good way to make money

Hey Kerry, if it is a partnership, I don't see why there would be a problem. They could access the website through WordPress.

wordpress. If that isn't the case, you may want to PM Kyle and ask him if it's okay to do that.

Yes, I host the website from my daughter on my account too, she has access through wp-admin

Yes you can.

Have them point the domain to WA's name servers and then go to Websites > Site Domains. Add the domain under Other Domains and you'll be able to build a site for it.

Once you build the basic site, by going to Websites > Site Builder, you can create an admin user for them to log into the site directly. They can then do whatever they want.

What they won't have access to is WA and it's tools like Site Content.

You sure can Kerry however you will have to get the domain redirected to WA to your account
