How can we download and save a video from youtube to our personal computer? I'm only finding a way to save the link to the videos.

I do it all the time using third party sites like this one : https://mp3-convert.org/, which is safe. Just block any pop ups.
It can convert between mp3 or mp4. There are dozens of others like it out there. Pedro listed another one below too. Hope this helps!

Unless is your video, you can! Well, you can but you need to use 3rd party software.
There are certain websites that allow you to do so, even convert them to mp4, mp4, and other formats.
If you google for "download youtube videos" lots of choices will pop up, but be careful with the popups and where you click... lots of malware there!
One pretty decent is https://9convert.com/ ... but proceed with caution ;)

You input SS between www. and youtube i.e. www.SSyoutube.com, it will direct you to another page, however don't download.
Instead click "Install" from top menu.
A file gets downloaded. Click on it and follow procedure.
It will ask you to add extension, click okay.
Onward, close browser and reopen, open any YouTube video and underneath you can see options how you wan to download

We are able to get to Jaaxy via the Research tab so what exactly is the purpose of the platform toggle button then? Is there any difference?
Kyle and Carson want us all to succeed, it makes for streamlined navigation. One way at the moment going in reverse would be a cool enhancement. Come to think of it a mega menu would be cool adding domains would work for me lol.
I wonder if some folks only have Jaaxy, a stand alone platform in its own right.
I image many people do. I'm sure there are quite a few people out there who subscribe to Jaaxy Pro or Enterprise but are not premium members of the WA platform.
I'd be curious if they also see a platform toggle. It would certainly encourage them to visit WA if they did :)

Follow up for this if anyone still sees it: do you get FTP access to your site if you have a domain elswhere and premium hosting here? I have a .be domain I want to a website here but I need ftp access to be able to translate plugins ...

Nah, not today, but yesterday.
I noticed that the platform kept having HTTPS 500 Internal Server Errors yesterday, which is a monthly(ish) occurrence with the increased influx of new members I guess.
Plus, ever since the "New Platform" in October, I'm noticing I'm having to clear cache/log out and log in to WA on a far more regularly basis.
Just try that Shan - the internet's answer to all problems.
"Turn it off, walk away for a minute, turn it back on again".

I think everything's fine today, but yesterday it was extremely slow, and I decided to clear cache, etc.
Plus I saw the "internal error" message at least 5-6 times yesterday!!
I don't know then!!! LOL
That happened to me yesterday once or twice and its' been happening since I sat down this morning. If I post from either my desktop or my phone, then refresh the screen, it's gone ... poof! lol
I haven't seen you pop up but earlier several others did. When I'd try to reply ... gone lol. Glad it's not just me. I was starting to wonder if I'd been banned for some reason lol

I see the new wordpress version now includes xml sitemaps. Does that mean that any of us that are running the sitemap feature on AIO or other SEO plugins will conflict with it

i know yoast turns the new wordpress one off - i think aio does the same.
google will soon complain if it gets confused...
i am sure they have thought about it.....
