For example, any ADHD coaches who are in the community?

Hello! How may I assist you?

In addition, you may reach out to your WA-assigned coach Mike

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/mikelambert/profile

And the community and, if any, relevant. You can ask in the chat, but really depends on who's available. I hope you get this figured out sooner - all the best on your online journey.

There are a few members here who have ADHD if you needed to ask anything in particular. You could put a question into the live chat.

I am not sure if there are any ADHD coaches, I know there are folks working within this niche and I also know there are many here across many niches, offering coaching services within their respective verticals.

Did you have any specific questions related to coaching?

Thank you for your response. Is it permissible to ask for things like this in the chat?

How can we optimize images already in use on a wp site? These were added to pages and posts before the image optimized plugin was in use.

Hi, Isabella, yes, you can optimize images added before installing the ewww plugin, but you need to use the Bulk Optimize link.

Once ewww is activated, click on Settings>EWWW Image Optimizer. You should now see the EWWW Image Optimizer Settings page. Click on Bulk Optimize link.

Now you need to create a pause between images by moving the slider along in the Choose How Long To Pause Between Images I would suggest 3 to 5 seconds is a reasonable time, the longer the pause the more time it will take to optimize the images, particularly if it's a large number .

Click on Start Optimizing under Optimize Media Library. Once it has completed optimization, click on Show Optimized Images to see what images have been optimized. Hope this helps, best wishes.

Hey Bethann,

There are several tutorials and blogs offering help one using the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin. See screen print below to see how to access them.

Hope you find this helpful.

Are the performance metrics different (i.e. not as good) on Site Rubix websites than they are on .com websites?

I'm starting to realize the same thing, so a custom domain may be in order. This is useful info because I had no idea the difference in rankings or whatever were so drastic. Luckily I'm not at the stage where Google rankings are a priority.

Hi Bethann you are a premium member you should transfer your blog over to one of the many themes you now have access too, then register a domain name for your site .com's are the best in my opinion, hope that helps, cheers Mike.

A .com domain will get more ranking within Google, because it is recognized as more of a authority site. A .com domain carries more weight than a SiteRux.com

That makes total sense from a marketing performance perspective. But does the site, and individual pages, posts actually open faster, and physically perform better in general? Or is there no difference?

What is the best practice when you have Product Pages where the products are no longer being made - as far as SEO and anything else that's applicable goes, is it better to DELE

I was just looking around because I thought it was an interesting question and I saw this article:
http://searchengineland.com/removing-pages-from-google-53086

There is in the search console a Remove URL possibility...

It is an interesting article on this topic..

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert,
Thank you for letting me know about the article. I am thinking it goes well beyond what I am asking and might answer a lot of people's questions...like maybe you may want to share it in one of your tech info blogs? I'm thinking, because the site in question is on a Drupal platform and mainly an e-commerce site with a lot of text on those discontinued product pages, I will go with Pjs advice - so people will immediately know the product is no longer available AND they have the opportunity, when I can do it, to see a related product that is available and may meet their need.
All the best,
Isabella

PJ's solution is indeed a lot more pragmatic! :-)

Yes, maybe when the time is there, I will use this info...
(Already bookmarked it... )

Grtz,
Bert

If the page actually contains text, I would leave it up for SEO and replace the image with something indicating "No Longer Available" and add a link to a product that is similar.

Thank you, PJ. I really appreciate your help with this. The site that I'm having that challenge with is on a drupal platform. I have been unpublishing the pages when products are discontinued, and have had a nagging "there must be a better way to do this" feeling. What you advise makes A LOT better sense!

When I read your profile I was struck by what an interesting life you are leading and the fact that you changed it to be closer and help your Mum. I was the marketing director for a geriatric care management company, before I started out on the vision of my company, and have some knowledge of what it takes to take care of our dear Elders when they need our help – so hats off to you for all your good actions on that account!

Finally, I tried to visit the site you reference in your profile that's under construction (I will check back) and must say, it is the best-looking under construction site I have seen!

Thank you again,
Isabella
