The Stencil Graphics Application
I ran across this new online graphics application the other day.
It is called Stencil.
How Stencil works
You find an image online you want to share, as a Pinterest pin for example.
When you right click the image, the image is quickly loaded into the simple to use Stencil image editor.
Click a button and it magically resizes the image for a proper Pinterest size (or Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ etc).
You then can easily add text and other cool stuff… then… even a link.
Just click a button and you can easily add a link to that and pin it on Pinterest, share it on Facebook, Tweet it, etc.
About Stencil
Stencil.com started life in in 2013 as Share An Image. Late in 2013, they launched on BrainyQuote.com with quote images for all! In 2015, they started a complete rebranding effort and launched as Stencil in April 2016.
Stencil Pricing
Stencil is similar to Canva, but the pricing is done differently. Canva has free and paid images available. Stencil has three pricing options, free and two paid plans (like Jaaxy). The free option enables users to create 10 images a month and has limited number of backgrounds and icons.
Conclusion
I found Stencil very easy to create Pinterest pins from my website. Here is an example.
Enjoy!Glen
