Looking forward to your answers.

Find out how many monthly searches you are getting with Jaaxy,(You can sign up for a free account)

If there is searches, most likely you can use the niche. Even if there is no products to promote you can promote accesiories around that problem and also create your own product in which you will make 100% commsion from.

There are different ways to gauge this. One way, Google the products in your niche do you see Ads at top and on the right side of the search result? If you see ads this is a sign people are buying

It does depend on the niche and the product/s, but one thing you can do is check out the sales statistics for the same or similar products in your niche being sold on various affiliate sites. For example, at Amazon, look at the "top rated" and "top selling" products. At Clickbank, look at the gravitas number (the higher, the more sales).

You can also check eBay to see if the products you are considering in relation to your niche are being traded.

If you have a particular product brand in mind, search its brand name
"product xyz model no.+ forums" and you will get results where the product is being discussed on various forums. You can do the same even without a particular brand or model number to see the extent of consumer interest.

Also search for reviews by adding + reviews to the product type or brand, and read the discussion threads related to them.

These are indicators that your niche and/or the related product is in demand or at least trending, which means there is a target market for it.

I don't know your niche, but for example, let's say it has to do with fishing. Find social media groups and or forums that have interest groups relating to fishing and you will quickly see what is "hot" and trending in that niche.

Just a few ideas to add to what others have said about keyword searches. ~ Jude

Use the keyword tool and jaaxy to see the result of your niche. Be sure to have a good qualitycontent on your niche you choose to run, because that matters the most too.

They are all brilliant (is that a Scottish term???) tutorials on how to use something freely available, to check popularity.

All the best, Mark

type into google search the niche you want to explore and see what comes up, then check other social networks to see what is on there about your subject

Think of it like this,
Are there a group of people in the niche you have selected, who have a big enough problem, that they are willing to pay for the solution
If the answer is yes, you have a profitable niche, if not, look elsewhere

Barry

niche viability (keyword competition, search volume) + number of articles/content pieces + number of social shares + number of natural backlinks - the strength of the competition and a few other factors as a place to start...it is all covered in here at different points in the trainings...however if you want better answers get better questions- so you started this off with a good one for sure!

Faraz, I agree with nosafk this is a good, smart question. If there is not a market for the Niche does it make sense to promote, for me my answer would be no. However use the google keyword tool to assist you in your Market Research.

This is a smart question Farad; i think the best way is to do the niche research, find out what is the demand of what you intend to offer to your audience.

Also find out the percentage of the people who are interested in your services.

Place yourself in their shoes to understand the niche more better

Visit other blogs in the same niche to check out how they are doing

The profitability of a niche depends on so many things, things like your audience, your knowledge about them, the quality of your services, keyword research, and lots more. It also depends on an individual.

Your knowledge and passion about a niche has a lot to do with your success in that niche.
