The alphabet soup technique is the best technique so far I have learnt of that would help me find out what people are entering in the search engine. Google, web browsers, email programmes and so on have autocompletes whereby the programme predicts the phrase that I want to type from prepopulated values and displays them for me to see.

As I enter:Gardening + a

As I continue to enter Gardening + ab

I get – Gardening abroad, Gardening Aberdeen, Gardening abc and Gardening above ground.

Alphabet soup technique is where we use our word or phrase of interest and each of the letters of the alphabet in turn to see what phrases the autocomplete provides us.

If we entered Gardening +b

We get Gardening blogs, Gardening books, Gardening blogs UK, Gardening boots.
