Yeah, I went through the Certification Courses. Are there any more certification courses or is that it?
Of course its hidden away under the "WA" bootcamp. :/ More products and membership deals to sell me?
There is no extra cost to complete the Affiliate Bootcamp training. It will be well worth your time.
The most important section of that article, in my opinion, is the section entitled, "Create Review Posts". The more content you have, and the more comments about that content, the better. Content and comments are the key to success in the online blogging / affiliate marketing world. Have you started the training here at WA yet?

Hi,
I'm thinking of creating a review website. Should I find popular topics on forums and then write a review or article about it? And should I link a affiliate product i
You're better off doing articles and reviews. Internally link your article about a certain camera or product to a review of that product (google likes this) then in your review add affiliate links to where your visitors can purchase the camera or product.
This is in the training if you haven't gotten that far yet you may want to wait on this and follow the training until you get there.
ROCK ON!

Example, this guy lists all the stores he goes to as LINKS to the entire affiliate store so people can shop for any product. Good idea or not?
http://www.kenrockwell.com/links.htm#stores
I took a look at the site and it is unappealing to look at and even worse to try and read.
You are correct, it's not much more than a list of links to other sites. I cannot imagine he is making much money this way ... unless he's doing some unethical stuff.
I would not recommend following this site as an example to build your business/site.
I see no value to Ken's site.
E
Yeah, I to think its an awful looking site. Just used it as an example for how he is posting affiliate links and wondering if you guys think its effective and works or not.
That's cool 'cause I was worried about your success if you were looking to make a site like his. :-)
Definitely not! LOL. But he states he makes money from the site. Don't know if its legit or not. He's on first page of Google for a competitive keyword, so maybe.
He could be making money, but that doesn't change the fact that his site looks hideous. lol
I wonder if he paid his way to rank in the number 1 position, he certainly doesn't have any content to get him there.
I may try building a site like that just to see what happens. It's worth a shot just to see what it does. :-)
E
He does have reviews on camera and stuff buts its poorly laid out with the navigation. He has a lot of personal stuff about his family on there. Nice trick to make it more personal for people to feel like they are getting to know him and in effect build trust with readers.
Wow - I didn't even see the reviews, they must have blended in with the junk. :-)
Yeah the family piece is cool but you can go overboard with the personal stuff too. Finding the right amount is key.
I noticed he has a donation button for people to donate to him. That's a little tacky and creepy at the same time. He'd be better off having a donate to the site or the business as the he did it gives me the feeling he's a bum on the corner asking for some coin. Just my thoughts. Anyway the site is cheesy and amateur for sure.
I am going to try one just to see but I'm going to make mine more profesh.
Maybe you try one too and we compare notes. :-)
Well, I'm currently building my site. So, I can PM you when its done and show you my spin on it. Yeah, I was thinking of adding donations but like you said instead of "supporting my family with donations" it would be to support my time and effort to write and generate more content for my site, example.
Allow me to share my views on this.
Writing a review on the selected camera in a established forum will be much more easier as some of the forums should have tons of visitors and people commenting on various topics. Creating another review website will take you some time…..If your purpose is to promote camera niche then using established forum will help you rank your camera niche much faster.
Next question: Whether you will write in a posts or a page. i think there isn't much different as post will have time stamp while page doesn't but page will have the article on top menu bar as compare to side bar for posts. On the other hand, if you have tons of info to share about camera niche then writing it on page will be appropriate as pages can link to parent while there isn't a link when you write inside the post.
Not sure whether my views can help you in any or not. Just sharing the little knowledge of mine.

Hi,
I want to know if it would be more beneficial for me to find another web host instead of SiteRubix?
Example, if I decide to end my premium membership, will I
Hi Daniel, I would recommend Siterubix to start with.
When you get to the point you are ready to take
ownership of your business and go premium.
Then purchase a domain name. You can transfer
your personally owned domain to another host
if you decide to leave WA. WA is an awesome platform!
If you become a Premium member here you can can host up to 25 websites with your own domain names and 25 siterubix.com ones also. if you decide to leave yes you can transfer all to another hosting with no problems.
Hey, thanks for the reply.
So, all my content and information, back end, on page seo, etc.. will all be transferable? Or would I have to start from scratch?
Thanks
All intact but you will probably have to pay for each websites hosting if you have more then with other hosting.
Can I get a web designer to build my website on SiteRubix? Or is it just basic website I can build?
The training is pretty much on how to teach you as an individual to build your own website from scratch. But you do have access to a lot of very good people with all of their knowledge to help if you get stuck on something and I am sure you can find someone here that be willing to work with you to build it.
Good luck
Tommy
