The evidence I can see though is that backlinking does work, so it's odd to see quite a few people saying it doesn't.

How important is backlink building?

I understand that they are not as important as say 7 years ago, unless they come from an authority site.

hey guys. As time has gone on, I have wanted to reply to some comments on my website with a link to another page. Whenever I build a post, i try to build a link to other releva
I don't think there's any limits on the number of links, but I feel that you should only include one, possibly two links just to make the blog post reading not overburdening.
I often add in internal links, as I see the comment section as an extra paragraph of content.
I don't think there's any limit so long as the linked posts are relevant and not constant links to thin pages (weak content and just sales links)
The only thing you will be a penalty for is if you put too many affiliate product links in the comments. Always leave the affiliate links for your review posts. Everything else should lead customers to the review posts. This is the best way into tricking Google that your site isn't one big sales pitch! Hope this helps.
Thanks, i understand about external links, I was just wondering if there is a limit to internal linking, I know google sees internal kinking as a good thing, but can it be too much of a good thing, if you see what i mean. Thanks again.

Has anyone used the Hoth for Link building? Id be interested to hear of anyone that has had results in WA. Thanks folks
Yes. It works pretty well. Used it on an existing site that was hit by a google penalty last year. it bought the site back to life and got moved many keywords up the rankings again.
So I also decided to give it a try on a new Amazon site to give it some link diversity. But too soon to see any results as the site will be sandboxed for a while. ( I also started another site at the same time and used a different way of getting some diverse links quickly - so hopefully that will give me some idea which works best for future sites. )
Dom Wells, WA member, has some good stuff on his site about using The HOTH.
Thanks. Used HPD before, that's where I heard of the hoth, just wanted to get a second opinion. My site is sandboxed too, i'm focused more on content. Good to hear other opinions.

Hi folks. I have been running some scary scripts on my website to change stuff in bulk rather than edit individual items. I have already trashed my site once and had to get the
I use a SiteRubix subdomain (actually a few) to test themes and plugins etc. The main thing is to not have duplicate content on your real site and your test site. One of my test sites is a subdomain on my own dot com because there are some restriction with themes etc. on siterubix subdomains. Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website ~Marion
If you had your old site rubix that can be kept for times like this. I would do as already suggested here and put in a support ticket.

Hello Doug,
I think the best way to find out is to create a support ticket with this question... Last week I had a duplicated site in my site manager, more by accident and they still are searching to get it away...
So I don't know...
Grtz,
Bert
When you open a dougtest.siterubix.com with the same theme, you can test anything you want before adding it to your real site
I have several test sites
look at eimhier.siterubix.com
I test everything first
Ok, but that's on the rubix platform, but my problem was with a real DNS name and it is still not fixed...
