I now have Ad Choices at the bottom of all my pages. It's not a bad thing but does anyone know how they got there?
When you find out, am really curious to know. If I was you, would do a support ticket after checking where it sends you during incognito search and then deactivate all my plugins.^_~
What's the URL where they are appearing? Have you checked your widget area?
This may be the result of a bad plugin - have you added any plugins lately? Disable your plugins and see if they go away.
Have you placed any ads on your site? Sometimes ads can display funny things that look different each time.
The URL is http://weddingplanningtidbits.com/picking-a-wedding-dress
The plugins I have are Akismet, Sociable, All in One SEO pack, Pinterest "Pin it" Button, Quick AdSense (but I don't have adsense yet), and SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam. Would any of those cause this?
No, I haven't placed any ads on my site except for the ones through ShareASale.
What do you think? Like I said, it's not necessarily a bad thing, I just wondered how it got there and do I get paid for clicks on there?
Thanks.

I have my AdSense Code but how AdSense explains how to implement it does no make sense in my dashboard. One way was to edit the page and click the HTML tab and I don't see one.
BTW here is some info on the plugin, it will probably help you set it up properly http://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-adsense/installation/ The key is to find the setting area to add your adsense code
Thanks Nathaniell. As always your great. I had some questions for you about AdSense but when you say the key is finding the setting area, you aren't joking.
It's like the same problem I was having with ShareASale. I can't figure out where they want me to insert the code.
Dawn
So you found the settings area or no?
Which code are you looking at for Shareasale? I use them as well, and I know they are confusing. All those link networks are.
Sorry I was confusing. I have ShareASale figured out and up and running.
It's AdSense that I'm having trouble with. I have the code from AdSense but they want me to insert into the HTML of whatever page I want it on. But they are telling me to insert it between <BODY and </BODY> in the content and I'm not finding those tags.
This should not be this complicated! Ughhh!
At this point I'm not even sure I want AdSense. What do you think?
Dawn
They are assuming that you are looking at all the code on the page. Wordpress hides all that stuff. If you have the html code, it should be enough to just paste that code into your page using the text editor on your post.
But it will be a pain in the butt to do this for every post, so I recommend that you start using the plugin. If I remember correctly, you do not need the html for the plugin, just your adsense ID.
Thanks again Nathaniell. That makes sense to me so I'll give it a shot. Hope you're close by today - I might need some more help.
nathaniell: thank you for the very helpful link about adsense. I still don't fully understand but at least I have the blank AdSense square appearing on my pages until I get approved by Google.
A plugin will probably be your best bet if you want it on every page of your site. If you just want it in a sidebar, you can copy/paste the HTML code into a text widget and be fine.
A plugin will allow you to automatically insert code info various places in your website just by inserting your adsense ID number, for example top/bottom of every page.
I used one before and it was good, but after adsense gave me the boot I haven't used it since.
When you installed the plugin, what else did you have to do? I saw that AdSense recommends the plugin but didn't know about using it.
Dawn
If you go to plugins click add plugins type in the search Adinjection then click to install and activate the plugin.. Then go to settings on the left half way down your dashboard select ad injection. You then click add image in a blog post click the link button put the url where you want the banner to go. And copy and paste the html code you will find it by clicking text on the top right of your blog post then put the html code inside the ad injection plugin.. And your banner will be on the page.. If you are stuck message me.. :-)
I forget to mention there is a book called Adsense code by Joel Comm if you Google it I think you may be able to get the e-book for free. Or else buy the paperback book .. I highly recommend it if you are going to be doing alot of adsense stuff.
Thanks so much. What about the plugin Quick AdSense? Have you ever used it and does it work just as good?
Being successful at building a website, even a WordPress website, requires having some knowledge of HTML. So if you don't know anything about it, you should find some training in it. However, to help you with your confusion, when you edit a page there is a tab that says TEXT, next to the one that says VISUAL. That is the HTML tab they are talking about. Hope this helps!
Thanks. This does help. I clicked on TEXT but wasn't sure if that was the HTML tab. Now that I know, I think I can do this. Thanks again.

I have to agree with Caylynn.
