About Marketer1929
Joined April 2014
I retired from MIT in Cambridge, MA in 1995 as a mechanic/stagehand/groundsman, after 29 years on the job. I have 40 years part-time experience as a security guard and am currently employed part-time with the Winchester, MA Police Department. I have been involved in many health programs on the internet for the past 20 years, but not as a business venture. I was born July 15, 1929 in Medford, MA. I am a U. S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a Sgt in December 1951. I would like to learn how to earn an income through the internet. I will need some strong upline support, especially with the use of a computer. I will do my best. John Finlayson

Really good to see that you've added some goals John!

These are both realistic and achievable. Your time investment will be key to achieving these goals and you certainly are willing to invest the time :)

Take your time, take action on what you learn, and ask for help when you need it! There are many helpful folks within the Wealthy Affiliate community who have the answers you will be looking for. I personally look forward to helping out in every way I can.

John,

I saw your request also about getting to your admin account for your website. If you did your site through WA you may access your admin area by going to "Build My Website" and selecting your admin login.

Another way to get there is to add /admin to your existing website address in your browser and hit enter that will also bring you to your admin for your site.

I hope this helps, if you have any other questions drop a line.

Best regards,

Gary

Hi Again Dawn - I accidently clicked on my picture and went straight to the Profile you referred too. I feel like a dunce now. But, as you said I will keep on working on things until I get it right. I sure would like to know how to add things to my web site. I Edited out a lot of the Coach stuff - courses that I never took in my lifetime. I just want to be a good WA Affiliate Guide to my clients someday, if I ever have any, that is and if I ever find out how to join as an Affiliate. Thanks for your comments. Very much appreciated. I printed them out for future reference as well. John Finlayson johnfinlayson444@gmail.com

John-
I saw your request for help with WA and if you have created a website then you are already a part of WAU! Keep going with the lessons and don't feel pressured to move at a certain pace or to catch everything the first time around. Keep going over the videos to make sure you got everything done, check off your list at the end of the lesson and move to the next one.
You can do this, I know you can. If you were involved in a war, you can do this. You've accomplished a lot and I'm so proud that you decided to take this on. My father turns 80 this year and I know he probably would not be able to do all the lessons.
So congratulations and welcome to WA. All the one on one help that you are looking for is right here. If you are going through the lessons, you are learning how to ask for help. Sometimes just going straight to the person's profile page and asking the question is the simplest. I see you've had contact with Labman. He is very knowledgeable and would be a great reference.
I would always be glad to help also but I haven't been here as long as others but I would always do what I can.
Again, congratulations! I think you've made a wise choice.
