I ask for their support step-by-step on how to remove it.

You need to be logged in.
Yes, I have a support ticket in. I just thought someone on WA might have some help, too.
Thank you!
I have a lifetime license with Divi, and I always head to their support when I want something. Their help is top-notch. You can chat with them and get instant help. Also, add a Divi tech guy user to your back office and get their technical team to sort things for your website. Very helpful indeed.
Yes, I also have lifetime-- I love the theme but have two that need to change.
I agree--their support is usually right on target. But then, so is WA in my experience (the actual WA support).
Have you had any speed issues or storage issues with Divi?
Yeah, there are speed issues, but I have the WPRocket. I don't recall any storage issues. I also use third-party hosting.

I'm looking for a good (as in works and is VERY easy to set up/use) GDPR (cookie option) for my sites. Any and all experience and opinions welcome!
Hey Diane,
You may find Kyle's post on this issue to be most interesting: GDPR Compliance. Our Official Take. Hope this helps you.
Would love to be able to assist Diane.
Unfortunately I have no idea at the moment as that question is way above my pay grade!
But I am sure that you will soon receive the answer to your predicament my friend from those much more knowledgeable than myself.
Hi you may like review below link

Wasn't aware that MonsterInsights – GDPR Friendly Google Analytics -- Would give it a try.
Yeah, I already took a look at those links they provided. It seems we don't need a plugin, WordPress already has this setting, and the privacy policies provided to us here at WA already reflect the GDPR regulations

Do you have a cookie consent on your website? I see it on many sites, but not all, including some of the major ones.
If you do have one, which plug in (if any) are you us
Interesting question, wondered as well, thanks for asking! I would go for a very discreet one, like a small one on the bottom or so. It always annoys me when there is a huge one on your screen and where you have to answer a thousand questions first.
I see that you got some good advice here, hope it will work out well!
Hi Diane, yes I do have a cookie consent form on my website.
GDPR Cookie Consent
Deactivate | Settings | Support | Premium Upgrade
A simple way to show your website complies with the EU Cookie Law / GDPR.
I see Abie has left you a link.
If your business is based in the European Union (EU), or you process the personal data of individuals in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) affects you. When relying on consent as your legal basis for processing, the GDPR says the consent you obtain must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous.
I do sell to the UK but am not sure what is going to happen with Brexit.
Best wishes,
Michael
Hey Diane,
If you are looking for a plugin to use, Loes talks about the one I found best to use: EU cookie law plugin for the GDPR settings Though, I must fess up, I no longer use because I seldom have European visitors on my websites, if any. After losing all of my European Amazon accounts due to NO visitors... well, it seemed logical to remove this plugin.
Hope you find this helpful.

I'll be setting up a contest on one of my sites for the purpose of gaining viewers and adding to my subscribers. The winner will have the most "likes" and comments on their sub
Yes, it's an interesting subject. Let me know what you find out, too. We can share information!
Hi - I have only ever run competitions on Facebook, so can't directly answer your query.
However, if you are choosing a winner, by the number of likes etc, this can lead to a lot of unhappy entrants, as the results can easily be influenced by those who will advertise your competition elsewhere to get their friends and family to vote. Perhaps assigning a number to each entry and videoing the live draw would be preferable.
Plus, there are specific websites devoted to competitions, who trawl the internet constantly and will add your contest to their site. Thus, you may get a lot of entrants, but immediately the competition is over and the winner is announced, will unsubscribe. This is common practice among professional "compers".
If you are offering a physical prize, you also need to consider if you should impose geographical restrictions, as the postage costs may be very high.
Yes, I've considered the possible trawlers and might tweak the contest after the first try.
I did the random drawing before. Rafflecopter made that pretty easy. This time I'd like to encourage a slightly different model but getting traffic to the site and also add people on. I'm still putting it together, so don't have everything ironed out perfectly as of yet.
No need to consider the physical prize as it's a cash payout. Other similar contests are paying to Paypal (winner will have to have PP to receive and that will be in the rules)
Thanks for your comments, Diane. Great insight!

I'm looking to add a recipe analyzer to one of my sites and although WP recipe maker is suggested by a friend, I wanted to get others opinions, too. He uses one of the paid ver
These are the plugins that help create the recipes you see on websites to make them look clean and neat and allow options like changing serving sizes, adding useful info, and allowing a print in different formats. Some have dozens of interesting elements. I'm just trying to find the best one (hopefully free!)
It gives nutritional and calories information on certain foods. Nutrition/calorie info on food labels are off by as much as 25-40%. Don't trust them.
Nutrition Analizers are basically apps they are not anymore accurate as they are based on these food labels.
Do you really think the FDA analyzed all 50,000 plus items on grocery store shelves?
Nope.
Ha ha. I never look at that information. I buy what I know tastes good and don't buy the things I don't like. When I thought maybe I would cut back on carbohydrates I bought some of those little cans of fruit cocktails. They are full of carbs, Who would have thought?
It does analyze the nutrition information (sometimes correctly other times not) but more importantly for me, it formats the recipes, allows for portion changes, and makes them look nice! Plus a lot more. I wouldn't do it for just the nutrition, but for the dozens of other options it helps with, I need one.
