Yes, I changed mine exactly how onebluemoon has described

In your payment settings you should be able to change the email.

I would really like to know if it's possible to add a home button on top of my website in the menu. All posts are located on my home page, but I somewhat can't figure out how t

Robs answer of click from anywhere to find satisfies this query best!

Thank you for that information.

Yes, you can. To do that, go to Settings – Reading. On Front page displays, you can set your homepage as a blog roll that shows your latest posts or as a static page where you want a specific page to be shown to people when they land on your site.

If you choose a static page, people will still be able to go to your blog page via your menus. You have to create a menu where people are able to read all your blog posts.

Hope this helps =)

Thanks Nelson. You mean like a menu on the side which has the latest blog posts for example? Not sure how to do that with the design template I chose (Omega), but I'll figure it out.

The problem with moving the blog to a static page would be that my home page will be empty. I have to figure this out as well.

Yes exactly

Im not sure how your template is structured but I do know that since itsWP alot of these default settings are pretty much all the same.. Just will take some messing around with..

Hope this helps

I wonder if you are asking what I was wondering about some time ago:
Maybe you want to have a static front page instead of the blog posts?
If your theme allows it, you can create the page and then set it as front page = home page

I thought about doing this, but then my actual home page (http://vpnonlinehelp.com/) would look empty, as I move all my posts to a static page.

Thanks for the tip though :)

Does this mean you have your blogposts on the first page which comes up? I have a theme where I can put static content and the blog on the same page, which comes up first. So you can do announcements of upcoming things on top and right underneath the blog rolls along.

It is widely known that to get back to the Home page from anywhere else on the website, you just need to click the website title in your header.

You can add a Home button but you will have to make it as a Page and then assign your Posts to that page This is mainly done when people want to make their Home page a static page instead of your blog roll.

Thanks for your answer Rob. I thought the same with clicking the website title. It's a pity that you have to move all your posts to a static page, but it's not a big problem, though.

Appreciate your help once again,
Dejan

My posts are usually 300-500 words long and I would like to know if the number of words is crucial to the ranking of the post and when yes, how long should a post be?

Hi dejan23, I want to express my opinion about your question. I think sometimes a word or phrase with great content can say more than a thousand words.

Hi Marbey, that can be right, as well. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

yes 500 words or more and your rocking and rolling

ok, thanks for the confirmation buddy.

anytime

I do agree with 500 words.

Thank you for sharing your opinion, Louisa.

I would not think too much about the number of words, but 300-500 sounds too thin to me. Over 1000 average value would be much better.

ok, thanks for the advice, Jovo.

Yes, content length is one of the factors of page ranking. Kyle suggests we at least write 500 words although the more the better. The more content there is the more keywords it can rank for and search engines love sites with a lot of content because that is more useful for users using the search engine.

Remember not just to blab on about nothing just to get your word count up. It's ok if you have some articles that are only 500 words long but just try to target for more if possible.

Ok, 500 words or above is quite achievable. Thank you, Andy.
