If you haven't noticed by now, the site comment section just got a nice new feature added on to it.

If you offer 10 comments within a 24 hour period, it will boost your requested comments for a full day!

I for one am very excited about this, because I've had to wait weeks sometimes to get a well written comment to my site. But now thanks to this Comment Boost feature, maybe all of us will start to get more comments coming to our sites!

What are yall's thoughts about this new feature? :)

Hey Michael,

Great that you've found the newly updated SiteComments platform that has only been live for about 6 hours!

Comment Boost was something that we decided to build to give those that are in-fact providing value within the SiteComment platform, an opportunity to boost the speed at which they receive their comments. This is a true give-and-take scenario where the more you give, the more you will receive.

For those that may not have some comments that they are requesting at the current time, there is another new addition that we call "Certified Commenter" status. This allows those that are regular commenters an opportunity to earn Cash credits for offering high quality comments to others.

We're really excited about the new platform and I cannot wait to hear more feedback as we all begin to use it.

Carson

Wow this sounds even better than I imagined!

I really like that were not restricted to only 10 comments a day -- but can basically give an many as we want and be rewarded for it.

I look forward to testing this new feature out starting tomorrow :)

Thank you very much for continually providing us with awesome features and tools to build our businesses online!

Sounds great, Carson, does this aply to comments paid with credits too? Because I detect a lot of people who ask for comments do use credits, I sometimes have to wait 7 days to receive a comment

All comments in the SiteComment platform are paid with credits - I'm not quite sure what you mean, can you explain a bit further? Are you referring to folks who purchase cash credits and use them towards SiteComments?

Waiting 7 days to receive 1 comment should be a thing of the past Loes, that is one of the purposes of this release, new UI, improved notifications, incentives (Comment Boost / Certified Commenter Status).

Great work Carson. I'm quite pleased with this and with you guys!

Awesome and amazing! Not only were we waiting for 7 days, we also saw our comments bounce. It was frustrating. I do wonder however, how the new system in place is going to do quality control of comments?

Nobody wants bad comments at a faster rate. Anyway, I will give it a spin today!

Steven

You are right, no one wants bad comments and this is why you can disapprove them. Someone who is offering low quality comments will be banned from the system after a number of disapproval’s.

When you disapprove a comment, you get a new one in place of it.

Yes, I mean that, too many people who purchase credits, so they do not leave comments, That makes that the system is working slowly.

Agreed but before you ban somebody, please it would be good to take a look at some of the disapproved comments. Just saying. That second audit would be very important for both parties.

Weeks!.. lucky you! some of my posts have been in there for YEARS!

I think your niche is just hard to comment on :) women can’t really participate, men will be shy/self-conscious.

I think in your case it’s not SiteComments fault, people just choose to pass on comments to your site. IMHO.

wow that is crazy! Hopefully this new update will help you out. :)

I'm loving this idea. I had given up on the old site comments. Jim

Wow! Thanks for letting us know. I'm happy about this...I've sometimes waited days for comments. I'll check this out. Thanks, again.

Yvette

You're welcome. :)

Haha I almost gave up on comments until I read your post. Thanks Michael! :)

Glad I could help motivate you to use them again :)

Thanks for the informative post, Michael! I'll get right on it! It is an awesome feature!

Erin :)!

You're welcome. :)

Thank you Michael for sharing this information, it sounds like this is a very new feature but also very useful.

Enjoy your day.

Roy

You're welcome and also enjoy your day / weekend coming up. :)

Hi Micahel
Great share and yes it sure is awesome
Go easy and all the best
Vicki

So far it's been a lot of work but it is a good learning experience.

Yes, I noticed and absolutely love it! I personally always give more than 10 comments in a given day, so that is definitely going to be useful here.

Hopefully others will be more inclined to using the SiteComments feature now, and will be less pushed to skip over certain requests.

I agree. I too hope we can start to see not just more comments, but better written comments for out sites too. :)

If you are offering 10 comments in any given 24 hour period, then you're going to be able to really boost the speed at which you gain comments from the platform.

A great features of comment boost is that you are not limited to 10 comments in a 24 hour period.

For EVERY 10 comments added in a 24 hour period, you add a full day to your Comment boost queue. So, if you were to add 30 comments in a 24 hour period, you could add your own comment requests to the comment boost queue for 72 hours!

Thank you so much for the explanation. Was not sure, but looks like my thinking was right.. :) That's why I was thinking that because I am very active on SiteComments, that this feature is going to help a lot with the speed at which I receive my comments..

Thank you for this wonderful update!

This sounds like an awesome feature. Thank you so much !

Carson, WOW, this is extremely exciting! Thank you for clarifying.

I am just wondering, if one gives 10 comments in a day and receive the 24 hour boost, but don't have a post ready to receive comments on... Will that 24 hour boost be saved for when comments are requested, or is it the 24 hours immediately following one's effort? (Does that make sense?)
