I definitely need to get my email list going ASAP. I've heard a lot about Aweber. I went to check it out today and obviously wasn't the happiest when I found out that it costs
I've read several articles that say it's critical for conversions. More people will read more of your articles, trust you more, buy more, etc.
I'm glad that we have this forum to go to and get real answers from real people! Tired of getting scammed all the time.

I have used Aweber from the start and am very happy with it.
It's an investment of $19 a month for your business, but you can always start with Mailchimp for free :-)

I know that Amazon offers a commission for every purchase made during the transaction, not just the product that I'm promoting.
Is there a professional term for that? I'
I've added banners and specific products. I seen 10% or less depending on the item. If your customer decides to buy more things even unrelated, you still earn commission on these items I think. One of my site offers mostly amazon products.

Hi Chad, you just need to be part of Amazon's Affiliate program, but instead of using an advert for a specific item you want to pick one of the widget.boxes and then put your code into a widget in your sidebar, then if people go to Amazon using your link then you get commission regardless of what they buy. One thing though, your family can't do it for you. You can be penalised by Amazon and lose your account.

Depends on the product, niche, etc as to how much better, but you are correct. The downside I'm finding is that EVERYONE knows about Amazon and are comfortable purchasing from them.

I don't think there is a term for what you are asking. What I would look at is each program's description of their commission and the length of their cookie (the small tracking file). That is where they will describe what products qualify for the commission. Most websites selling many products will offer a commission based on anything purchased during the length of the cookie.

I'm going to be doing a lot of book reviews and I've been reading that Amazon (apart from the Kindle movement) is one of the worst for paperback book commissions. So I've been looking into different companies to see what they offer. But it would be nice to earn commission on additional items purchased as well.

I want to purchase the premium version of my theme. Does anyone know if I can use it on multiple domains if I do so? Or would I have to purchase the premium version for each do
Thank you all for the feedback! I'm purchasing it this morning so I'm hoping I can use it on a few different domains. If not, it's not the end of the world. There is so much customization and I'm very comfortable with the layout.
Depends on the plan you buy.
Some are one domain one install. In some cases you buy a developers plan that allows multiple installs and in some cases also access to multiple themes. Those plans usually have a monthly/yearly pricing plan.
Just check the terms and conditions of the actual theme.
