About Rangertony
Joined January 2017
Most of my career has been in the corporate world. This life has been good to me, but I have found that middle and executive management requires a lot of time, especially due to travel. I also found that my work/life balance was getting to be too much out of balance with life and family not receiving enough of my time.

I am a graduate of Purdue University from the early 1980's and an Army veteran. I tell people that I went to school at Purdue, but go my education in the Army. I enjoyed (or survived) such schools as Basic Training, Officer Candidate School, Infantry Officers Basic Course, Airborne and Ranger Schools. Most of my professional career has been in health care especially pharmaceutical, pharmacy, food and environmental services. Most of this was in the sub-specialty of Post Acute and Long Term Care markets.

As a soldier, I was stationed in Germany during the Cold War. I was actually in Germany when the "Wall" came down. I have worked in Germany for a conglomerate also in the healthcare industry. l speak German fluently. My older daughter is studying Medicine there and has worked there as a Mid Wife. I consider Germany to be my second home.

I have held positions from Industrial Engineer, Sales Professional, Manager and Director. My challenge is that while these professional positions are still in demand, I find myself wanting to start my own business. I am certainly humbled that my professional experiences may very well not translate well into the cyber space platform that is successfully being leveraged today. I look forward to getting to know this new business model (at least for myself) and want to thank all of you who will take the time to share your knowledge, understanding and wisdom with me and those like me.

I look forward to getting to know you soon.

Sincerely,
Tony

Hi Tony,

You have my favorite man's name, my husband is Tony.

My parents were German, but I only know a smattering of the language. Although, a few years ago we went to Germany to visit relatives and I got along just fine. It was our first trip and I loved the country. Especially the forests, how clean they were kept.

Pleasure having you in my community. I wish you lots of luck

Thanks for following me.

Tony,
Wow. Awesome Bio! It sounds to me like you would do very well in this business also. Before I went into Nursing and the Health care industry, I used to work for Metropolitan Life Isurance and Century 21 Real Estate. I always had this interest to work on Wall Street at the New York Stock Exchange.
Well, Long term care nursing became my area of interest and I just love it. Were you a pharmaceuticals sales representative?
Well I hope you find success here at WA. Donna

Hello Rangertony, pleased to meet you. A man of your calibre has been trained to adapt to any situation and you certainly have transferrable skills. Do not worry about translating to Cyber. Just transfer and adapt.

I served as a Captain in the army of "an undisclosed country" but left "unceremoniously" (which may explain my profile image) So, I can understand where you are coming from.

The power to succeed is in our hands, and for a few days I have been within this lovely community, I see nothing but value all around me.

Training is the key.

Regards.

Greeting Captain, That was the rank from which I concluded my military career as well. I see that you have tried this before and are back. I feel that I need to dedicate a little more time to WA, but I need to get back to my primary work of consulting and coaching. I like the progress that I have made, but my primary income has been put on hold for educational purposes.
It is nice to meet you. We will have to tell some military stories some time.

Good to meet you too Capt. Yes, military stories are great but I guess it is going to take a while, maybe private.

All the best Ranger.

Thank you for your message Tony,

My Spanish is quite decent I would say even if it is the only language I did not learn in a school, like the others. I came to Spain in 1975 after 5 years in Italy. As I worked as a tour guide for a German company I was forced to learn Spanish quickly otherwise you cannot defend your tourists. No, I have not been to Valencia yet as it is not next door to me, still, I have it also on my list. Tomorrow I am off for a week south Portugal. I am going to meet with Danish friends who live in Canada, I met Rolf in 1968 in the French school close to Paris and always kept contact.

All the best, Taetske

Good afternoon Tony,

I think it is always good to travel and visit different countries and come in contact with different cultures. I myself started traveling at the age of 16.This phrase of yours : not translate well into cyber space I certainly feel the same. With what I know and the way I have lived I feel like an alien sometimes.Thank you for the follow.

Regards from a warm Costa del Sol, Taetske

How is it that the Dutch speak and write so well in English? I was in the Netherlands only once, but was taken aback by this. Now, I suppose that your Spanish is perfect as well. Have you been to Valencia? I definitely want to visit there.

Oh Geroge, my last position had me covering all of Ohio and Western PA. Between the Pittsburgh professional sports fans and the Ohio State fans, I thought I was going to lose my mind. But hey, good 'ole Purdue has a nice looking basketball team this year. What do you expect? I am from Indiana! It is great to meet you and I wish you all the best. It looks like we will grow here together.

Yeah, the fans are definitely diehard fans. I know Purdue will at least be in the field of 64 for the NCAA Tournament, which is more than I can say for the Buckeyes...Look forward to getting to where we want to be in this journey together.

Good day to you Tony, my name is Ken and I welcome you to WA and thank you for the follow. I am following you back. I would suggest you first start with the Get Started Here section [top left green box] and learn the basics of online marketing. You will learn how to select a niche, build a niche website and learn keyword research. All else is built around these three principles. As an added bonus If I were you, I would focus on a niche that you have the most experience with, like health care.
I look forward to working with you and wish you much success and prosperity in your journey.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Kyle, I am somewhat surprised that you can maintain your contact with me. I am very impressed. I have been in sales and marketing for many years and am familiar with niche even if I really don't know how to pronounce it.
My strength is in leadership and building teams. God has really blessed me with this ability and eventually I want for this to be a focal point of my business and branding. On the other hand, I wish to learn about how to make take this opportunity and turn it into a money generating business. For now, I feel that I need to pick a niche that easily translates into Amazon products. This includes, floor care and dining services. I have learned both through my career. Additionally, I am interested in soft toys especially teddy bears. In college we studied about Steiff which was the first to come up with the teddy bear. It was a marketing marvel that continues on today.
Any input that you have for my first niche would be greatly appreciated.

Your niche ideas are definitely viable directions for your niche. You need to choose one when starting out, what are you most passionate about?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

How long should we anticipate getting through all of the learning?

I have spent some time breaking down the process in the most simplistic way possible. Success online is at the core a 4 step process and I have broken them down within this video: Broken, down, the process looks like this:

Step 1: Choose your niche
Step 2: Build your website/content
Step 3: Get rankings in search engines (leads to traffic)
Step 4: Monetize your traffic (the make money part, through affiliate programs, etc!)

This applies in absolutely every niche and as you work through the training here at WA, you are going to be walked through this exact process. This is fundamental for ANY success online.

If you have any further questions let me know Tony. :)

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate, Tony! Thank you for your service, too! Wie geht es dir? I'm an American mutt but mostly German. My German is not fluent and is very rusty since I rarely use it. I did take German as an undergrad. Best success to you here. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Cheers, ~ t

Mir geht es Gut! Danke. It is amazing just how much German I have forgotten. I speak or text daily with my friends and family in Germany but they all speak English with me. When I get over there, it comes right back though. Thank you for the warm greeting.

Hi Tony,

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. I'm Marcus, and I'm so glad you decided to join us here. If I can be of any help to you while you are here, just send me a message and I'll do what I can.

It really is true that everything you need is right here at Wealthy Affiliate. The first thing you should do is to begin the Online Entrepreneur Certification Getting Started (Level 1) course. This will guide you along step-by-step with everything you need to do to get things moving: HOW TO CLAIM YOUR BONUS
-----------------------------------------------

If you upgrade to Premium within the first 7 days, here are some bonuses that I am going to be giving you:

(1) You are going to get a 61% discount on your first month Premium membership (only $19)
(2) You are going to get personal and private access to me! If you ever have a question or need help with your campaigns, I will be there.
(3) I will write an article for your website, such as a product review for example. Just tell me your niche, what type of article you want, and I will do the keyword research to find the best keyword, then write it and send it back to you for you to put on your website. Be sure to remind me about this once you have upgraded, and I will get right to it.

But only if you join in your first 7 days (this is what I call my "action takers" bonus).

Wishing you great success!
