Where do I find my wp files (eg. content)?
WordPress doesn't create separate files for every page but uses templates then fills it with information from a database and pictures from a folder on the server.
The database and media folder can be view via FTP but as the database is one massive file it isn't very user friendly and anything in the picture folder can be view in the WordPress media library.

It depends on what exactly you want. You can get this stuff via FTP but I'm not sure that's what you really want.

I bought the domain wearetemplarconsulting.com from Namecheap. It show up under my domains but not in Build My Website. I get an h75 error message saying the domain is already cr
Choose to put it on your own domain, type in the domain name and point the nameservers in NameCheap to WA! Much success to you!
You must change you (DNS) that is your "domain name server"
Its called, "pointing your name servers"
Barry
Hi Barry. I did that already. When I go into my list of domains it is there. I've tried to enter the name into Create domain and it give me that h75 error saying it's already been created.
Did you go to Build My Website > On a Domain I Own > Choose Existing ? http://take.ms/JLg78
If you see it under "My Domains" but have not built the website there, I would submit a support ticket and see what they say, those are the guys that can dig into this stuff.
Yes. I did that but it doesn't show up as existing even though it shows up in my Domains list. How do I create a support ticket?
When you click Websites & Hosting, does it show up there? That's where you log in and build.
have you followed the training in regards to the DNS? https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-hosting-setting-up-your-domain-dns

I want to get my sites ranked higher. Any feedback on best SEO technique?
You may want to check out...https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/rickbell57/blog/website-traffic-news
In the beginning I've been told that we can only hope for so much from google, and I've actually had better luck advertising my sites through other media. Of course we want to stay on top of google!
what nathaniell said. There's also some great info about seo, ranking and making income in this training:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/15-reasons-why-your-site-isnt-listed-in-google-generating-traffic-or-making-money/the-core-of-your-site
The truth is that no one really has an exact formula to rank high. If there was one, everyone would do it and then it wouldn't work!
Your best bet for easy ranking will be to target low competition keywords https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/hot-to-get-keywords-ranked-with-low-hanging-fruit and blogging consistently.
As you get ranked for these terms and slowly build traffic, you will also gain rank for higher competition keywords, and keywords you didn't even try to target.
Thanks for the advice. I've been going through bootcamp and there's so much information to take in. it's amazing

What's the best strategy when choosing a name for your WA affiliate program website?
Hi Catie! The training here is awesome and I know that Kyle says not to worry about domain name in terms of SEO but one thing I found through trial and error is that when people "google" to find information, they glance at the domain name and see if it is relevant to what they need. If it's not then they won't be as likely to click it. Also, the domain name does help with SEO in Yahoo and Bing.
Put a couple of ideas into the keyword tool and see what you come up with. That's what I did and so glad because it helps! Plus, if you put in a phrase like onlinemarketinghelp, it will also give you tons of other similar ideas.
Good Luck!
Perhaps Kyle or Carson could come to your rescue on this subject. This needs a top class answer I would think
Some domains I have registered are probloggingschool AskSotiris 1on1 internet marketing coaching etc etc..
Depends on what you are going to be blogging about.. Whether you want to brand yourself as a person .. Or you want to show you are specialised in social media, paid ads, Blogging etc.. Getting the main keywords in the domain looks better even if it doesn't hold as much SEO weight as it used to with Google..
My personal recommendation is to not put "WA" or "wealthy affiliate" in the domain name. It means that anyone coming to your site automatically sees a bias, and assumes you're just out to promote WA.
I guess that's kind of the idea of doing bootcamp, but I recommend you go into it thinking of your site as a not just promoting WA, but as helping people make money on the internet. If WA is the best place to do it, then so be it!
A second recommendation is to not use the words "money" "cash" "rich" or these things but I know a lot of people do.
Think of the reason WHY you want to start an online business, or are starting this website. What's important to you, and what do you want to convey to your visitors/referrals?
An easy one would be marketingwithcatie.com or catiesonlinebusiness.com or something personal like that. It automatically brands it as YOU and builds trust I think.
Nathaniel is right, you don't want to give hints as to where you get your information from and if they influence on your writing. People will see the bias and stop reading once they catch it
Try to be as formal and objective. If you want you could leave like a little paragraph on the side to let your readers know that you trust WA.
They will click if you recommend.
They will exit if you try to sell directly
Instead of money, cash, rich.. I suggest you use increase income or words similar to that..
-Daniel
I don't agree 100% with being formal and unbiased. If your blog has no personality, people start looking picking out "facts" that you have wrong. Reviews are personal bias, so I recommend people own their bias :)
Would it be a good idea to tie the WA affiliate program name to the name of my other website? My other website is coolchickschat.com
Personally, I would not put WA or Wealthy Affiliate in your domain name. Some people do, but I think it limits the potential of the site to promote other offers/programs if you find something you like in addition to WA.
