Website Traffic News
The biggest secret to making money online is having streams of traffic. No matter where you are on the website ladder, you will always need and want more traffic. So if you are not getting the kind of traffic you want, you may want to consider other alternatives. Remember, Traffic is money, and Visitors is Traffic.
There are a couple of ways to get traffic to your website. One way is build a website and promote it using our time. I think we are all are doing this okay. We develop and increase our skills each day just by learning as we go. We can depend on search engines to do much of the work for us, as long as we have things set up correctly and are always on top of our game.
The other way to get traffic is to buy it with real money. Today many people are reaching far more visitors through cost effective advertising. Not just by using search engines, but with paid advertising. I for one started using online newspapers, business cards, mailings, Craigslist, Ebay, Fiverr, and others to promote my websites. Some of these are inexpensive, some are not, but of course it takes time to search them out, create ads that work, and lots of learning from each source. You especially want to learn as much as you can if you are paying a good deal of money for these resources.
Advertising to promote your website today is an art form. You will have to reach out and believe in a bigger picture, while trying different venues along the way. Take a few risks, and get out there and create a traffic jam at your website. I am!

Hi Rick,
Be careful with advertising on ebay.
They do not like it.
Maybe they will change their stance as their arch rival Amazon does
There is a way around this! List a CD/DVD under " Anything Else--Information Products--Information Services" for 0.99 P&P included. This is the rule for ebay UK (I don't know about US) you MUST supply a physical product and include free P&P. This CD/DVD will be on the topic you are promoting.
When you supply the CD/DVD you get the buyers email address and you know he /she is interested in the subject so you can send them information on your other products.
You can obtain the content for your CD/DVD from the web . Make sure you have PLR or MRR when you get it.
Cheers, Mike
Ya' know Rick, I never thought about eBay. That's an interesting prospect. After you suggested Fiverr the other day, that's got me going also. This is some great stuff... nice post, man!!!
look out my websites caught in a traffic jam. lol. yep a combo of ppc, solo ads, classifieds, social media, you tube, and work on your long term traffic in the mean time , that would be seo . that's the ticket Rick
offline tactics may involve. signs, drop cards, newspaper, magazines, pamphlets. don't go out to market though, market while you're out
