Hello all! My name is James and I am happily married with 3 kids. I am looking to branch off onto my own business with plans of replacing my normal job.
With everything that I learned at Wealthy Affiliate I was able to start my own Board Game Company with a good friend of mine. More information on this will be coming as it becomes available.
I am a long time Redskins fan, but I believe that the NFL is about a business now and not the game. If feels a lot like when I found out that TV Wrestling wasn't real when I was a kid.
I enjoy all sorts of gaming from computer, to video, to tabletop, to role playing games. I also like to go camping and enjoying the wilderness.
I am here not only to learn myself, but to also help other people along the way. If you ever have any questions about anything here always feel free to ask me. I don't know everything, but I am willing to lend a hand when I can.

My latest project is Spiral Revolutions and the site is geared towards making the world a better place for all of us. Long have I wanted to help others get through this life in a positive fashion and I believe I have found my key to doing so with this site.
Joining WA is still one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am very thankful for it and everyone here.

The red arrows were added using another program to point out the particular spots that I was talking about and not from Paint itself. They came from the Screenshot program that I was using called Monsnap, which is a great tool for capturing images.

My family has land up North, unfortunately I'm out here in South Texas. Not many Mountains, and I myself am a Mountain person. Thanks for checking it out, I thought that myself checking yours out. Music grabs us differently, your nephew has got talent. Some of these youngsters are pretty damn good. And getting better! Try and get my hands on as many instruments as I can, as often as I can. That's good he like to hangout with the fam.

Hey Shawn! Well our first game we kept kind of simple as well, we don't exactly know how to get them to market. So we learned a lot in our first attempt but we were not successful in getting our Kickstarter funded. However that only urged us on more.
Right now the game we are working on to bring to the market next is a little more up our alley. I really don't have any details to share at the moment as it is still a bit early for it, but so far the early playtests are going very well.

It is an interesting prospect the whole monetization thing. I wish I had the blogging experience before I got here as that was one of my challenges. However, I have worked on the content part and feel like a much better writer than I was when I first started.

The education that you get here is awesome, plain and simple. Add in the community here and it is hard to go wrong. The only reason people are not successful with WA is if they don't listen to the training and don't put in the work.

Well, it looks like you've got some great content. I just recently moved my .wordpress site to self-hosted. Now,I'm going through each post, and optimizing them for SEO, as well as trying to make them more appealing.

The best advise I could give you is to look for local gaming stores and see if there are any groups or message boards there to find a group. Best of luck to you in that effort.

It can't hurt to try. Often once we get a group going more people want to play. Or we get a group going and people want to play more and will do a second, third or more for groups.

That snow was actually a record for us for our area. Thankfully it hit over night on a weekend and didn't affect the work week. Was a ton of fun though. I particularly liked the ice in my beard.

Yeah I don't think I was more than 4 at the time when I drew this picture playing a game I made up using my dad's old newspaper. My older siblings were shocked when they seen it and got out the encyclopedia to show me what I had done. I still have a pretty clear image of the event in my head. It is definitely on the bucket list to get down there.

James, I was looking up some training for a recent member, re adding images, and found yours. It turns out that the training is my style so I came here to read about you. So now I have bookmarked two of you tutorials for future reference.
Your idea of hockey now a business is one I had many years ago. I remember when ads were streamed across the bottom of the TV screen and the game went on. Then all of a sudden TV commercials took over. If you were at a game (Canucks for me) all of a sudden players would take several minutes of aimless skating time. That was so the commercials could be aired. It was a very odd part of the game!

It is sad to see how sports have become more businesslike. Hopefully the more of us that are displeased with it the more likely we can get that changed!
