A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT BRANDING - I THINK!
NO NOT BRANDY - WHAT ARE YOU LOT LIKE..........BRANDING I SAID!!
How is anyone going to notice me - who am I - how am I going to stand out in the CROWD?
Hey you know me and you know my background is not in Marketing or Affiliate Marketing but I am enjoying picking up little tips as I learn, I did pick up some common sense over the years though. Did you hear the Phrase:
"IT TAKES A LIFETIME TO BUILD A GOOD REPUTATION AND IT CAN TAKE A SECOND TO - DESTROY IT"
THE ACTUAL QUOTE IS FROM A FAMILY MEMBER
"it takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently." Warren Buffet
Isn't the phrase so true. For some of us, the best time for building our reputation or planting the seed was 30 to 40 years ago but don't worry we can plant the new seeds starting from now! It's time to stand out in a world of equals. We are in the right place at Wealthy Affiliate!
SO WHAT AM I REALLY DOING AT WEALTHY AFFILIATE
Obviously I am here because I need and appreciate the schooling and learning is healthy and I want to begin to sew the seeds of entrepreneurship in my time to come.
We are all here for different things if the truth be known - For me, it started out as something different to what it feels like today - 4 MONTHS ON.
Today it is simply a place where I can be part of something, it is the best way I can see to get started in business and it's also the best place I can be to start learning to help people and I am allowed to do it over and over without asking OR expecting anything back.
It may not be apparent to outsiders but I do things from the heart and that's simply because I enjoy taking part and I simply want to help.
NO THAT'S NOT ME! The gray color around the chops are similar!
It is the fact that I care for others and the energy I portray that it is important to me and how my energy is perceived, my diligence and attention to detail are qualities that I want people to feel when they invest in my business.
Kyle has talked about simplicity numerous times through his training and there is nothing more simple than caring about someone and building trust and lasting relationships.
My relationships have always been built on trust and they have been for many years - it is my belief that trusting relationships in marketing will build on my reputation!
We are spoilt with social media these days and business that used to be agreed on a hand shake has taken to the digital media platforms for us to become profitable and favorable!
It gives me such pleasure to know that people are talking about me, it's important that they are talking about me when I am not around - We want to be noticed, we are not the same and we need to be different - BLANDNESS SUCKS!

"Your Reputation is your Good Name - You are selling yourself - Your experiences are Unique to you - You are Unique"
YOU ARE THE REAL EXPERT
YOUR BRAND
We have chosen to be in the public eye and the choices we are making will begin to portray our personal Characters - who we really are - we will be defined and judged as we develop our businesses - THIS WILL BE OUR BRAND.
Finally, it is worth being aware of the fact that if people do not buy into YOU, then they will not buy into anything that stands behind you.
PEOPLE ARE BUYING PEOPLE - When we begin to learn from our experiences in everyday life and so much on the platform - OUR TRAINING GROUND - WEALTHY AFFILIATE IS OUR PLACE TO PRACTICE, the rewards to shall follow.
FINALLY, - Sell Yourself
REPUTATION MATTERS - FROM REPUTATION YOU WILL GAIN RESPECT - WHEN YOU GAIN RESPECT YOU WILL:
"EARN MONEY!"
And of course there is Gratitude - Take Time
"Who are you grateful for in your life and what are the memories you are grateful for in your life and what are grateful for about yourself." Gratitude will lead to positivity!

Well thank you very much for this Wayne and if I was to say anything about yourself as a person, you are anything but BLAND that is for sure.
I know what you mean about building relationships and friendships on trust as I do the very same. I did have my trust in people shattered here so am very wary about people now, however I feel that you and I have managed to build a good friendship and have trust in each other.
I always say that if people can't take me as I am and for who I am well then that is their choice but I will not change just to suit others. The one person I am always grateful for having in my life is my dad, always has and always will be.

We have built a good lasting friendship which is all important because it would be a hell of a waste of money to join WA and not to be surrounded with friends and support.
We are not to live our lives pleasing others because that will be a life wasted - we will never get satisfaction in our own life this way.
Anyway my preaching done - it's 18:40 pm and cereal time!
I booked a rental car yesterday for 3 weeks when I get to the UK. I leave the house Thursday.
They brought me such wonderful diners Saturday and Sunday! I bought two Lottery to tickets to share with the whole office - 27 million if we win! They were a bit surprised with my gesture.
A last funny one - two guys at the hotel work together for one year, they don't even know each others name - isn't that funny or weird!
We are building our own businesses and working together in a nice way!

Still feeling rotten so got the Doc at 2.30 pm.
We have Wayne and that is so right and that is one of the things that I love about Wealthy Affiliate. I totally agree with you that we should not live our lives to please others but for ourselves.
What cereal are you having this time and is this bowl number 2 or 3 or even 4 now lol.
That's good Wayne, at least you will be able to get to places when you are back. When do you fly home then if you leave the house on Thursday?

My dad was a great salesman, he believed that trust was important as well as the product. He took time for the trust to build,
and had many returns for business.
I understudied with him, I was interested in finance & his methods.
Reputation is good.

This is an awesome post and what you say about gaining trust and building reputation is so true especially in this day and age of Social media "body-slams" that can and DO destroy reputations! I maintain integrity and I live a true and honest life and for this I am satisfied with my lot!
We are somewhat lucky with community that we find ourselves interacting with.
