Why not, publish it too WordPress, then edit the post and activate the link at the same time
Is it still black after you post the comment? I guess you are trying to get feedback for an article in your website. The link should show blue once you post it. Jim

How do I activate a link that I copy and paste?

Even though I have never used site comments, I would think that the link would become activated once the comment has been published.
I would think so too Robert, yet when I ...Wait a minute, something came to mind as of this writing! I don't think I hit the publish-button but rather ASSUMED that after I pasted the link in, that it would activate (turn blue) then. I'm going to try posting the comment and then see if it works. Sometimes the smallest things we learn make a big difference.
That was it Robert :)) I just experimented with it and that was what I needed to do. Links don't activate until you PUBLISH content. Thank you for your help :))
My pleasure James. Like you said, "Sometimes the smallest things we learn make a big difference."

My WA rank has been decreasing even though more people are following me. Why is this happening? I was getting to the 700's now I am in the 1000's.which is going in the wrong
Try not to pay too much attention to your WA Rankings. They are not as important to you as the rankings of your website content.
Just be active within the community in your spare time or when you may know the answer to another member's question.
Or keep asking questions of your own, like this one. But the WA ranks will go up and down. Just keep learning and building James.
This may help you if you are desiring to chase the numbers. Hope it helps! Ambassador Ranking 2017 Update: Pay-it-forward!
Hello Jim,
As a newcomer that watched her ranking drop from 4749 to 561 in one day I noticed that a regular schedule of interaction in the WA community goes a long way. It teaches you how to build comments that are relevant to the blogs posted.
When I share comments I read the full blog first and pick something in the post that grabs me and then I tell a story about how it relates to me. This gives the author something to work with in their reply.
Detailed comments also bring me more organic followers. I then read their post and do the same thing on their profile page. I try not to build my network too fast, because I want to engage with them in a way that I can watch their progress in WA.
I keep a notebook of when I responded to them and who they are so I can watch for their blog posts and comment on their blogs. I have my favorites in the Top 200. I like to learn about how they write and engage with their audience.
My goal however is to be Ambassador within a year so I do activities that will make me a good ambassador which means being active daily and responding to questions and blog posts.
Generally being someone you can know and trust.
These lessons help me with my writing and build a genuine style response to comments when I do get them on my website.
You get what you put into it. Your results will be rewarded in the WA community or on your website through conversion rates.
I just choose to master a skill before diving in to deep waters.
I hope this helps. PM me if you have anymore comments or questions.
All the best,
Louisa
Thank you Louisa, for for your reply:) This will go a very long way toward steering myself in the right direction. I have probably built my network out too fast. It is a learning experience though Louisa, and it can be full of "Newbie-mistakes" LOL! You are a very good teacher and I FIRMLY believe that you are on your way to becoming an ambassador :)
I experience the same problem, I was at 400+ rank once but now I am at 1758. It does not worry me as continue with my WA activities.
That rank doesn't reflect on you as a publisher - not on your performance through the lessons, not on your blogs, only on activity within WA. It doesn't pay the bills. Most important focus should remain on your sites.
WA rank is determined by many things, one of them is how often you interact with other WA members in WA. How often you add comments onto WA member blogs in WA. How often you answer questions. How much training you have created. How popular is it. How many likes. And so on.
Thanks David, you really are Dynamic! That is the answer! the more "Dynamic" we are within the community, the higher our rank. Thanks for shedding some light on this.
Of course, I hope that you realise that how the search engines eg Google ranks your posts is probably way more important than the internal ranking system used in WA.
Yes I do David, as Robert has advised me also in this matter. I will concentrate more on Google-rankings rather than WA rankings.

My website has just been indexed into Google! This happened after I updated my privacy policy for GDPR. Could that have been a factor?
As much as I know about SEO and keywords, Google still remains a mystery when it comes to how it really works. If the following link works, it is a cool little video from Matt Cutts, formerly of Google. I gives a basic explanation of how Google displays search results. http://youtu.be/BNHR6IQJGZs
Yes Robert, Google IS a mystery! At 8:15pm tonight I just got an email stating that my first keyword post had been indexed into Google through site content here at Wealthy Affiliate! :) Now, I have my .com website and now the page that I have just mentioned both indexed :) The "Rocket" is gradually lifting-off here! Stay tuned :)
I just started a new site and have added the updated PP also, but haven't gotten indexed yet. It may be a factor in your case. Do you have any other content on it yet?
Yes I do have Erin. I have my first keyword post that I have completed and posted about two weeks ago :)
Yes other posts are there including my new modified GDPR PP version. Something strange inside of Google Adsense they tagged $8.05 as value of my website and I don't know what this means.

I mistakenly chose the wrong domain name and want to cancel that site out and get a refund if possible, since I purchased it through site domains. I later purchased a second d
i bought the domain name twice can I cancel it or am i stuck with 2 domains with same name
I don't think you can have two same domain name! Domain name is unique, and if you or someone purchased the name, it won't be available to anyone else. So I feel you paid only once.
In general the domain name is something you cannot cancel nor ask for the refund. I believe site domains will be the same. I have done that when I was so new, and actually misspelled the name! Choosing the domain name is something you really have to be careful before purchasing it. :( - Kyoko
Thanks! I will probably just not do anything with that site and let the license expire since I have already purchased a second domain name that is what I wanted to begin with. I have also written to Kyle about this.
