How long before dns servers register a change?

They say up to 48 hours. DNS records can be cached by your browser, computer, and ISP. You might want to try a different browser, that usually does the trick for me.
Thank you. Tried it from my phone, and was able to log in correctly to my backoffice. Now I need to figure out how to make chrome act right lol.
Well, although I was able to login from my phone, I still can't login on my PC. I have tried Explorer, Chrome, and downloaded Firefox but I'm still getting 404 Page not found error. What the heck???

Do you think it is Content, consistency (frequency) in posting, or keyword research?

Although all are important, I think that content and consistency go hand in hand. Keyword research is just research and doesn't produce anything.
But if you refer to keywords implemented in the content, than that can be helpful for the ranking. But keyword implementation is not a guarantee for ranking either.
Also one can rank for stuff one writes for in a natural manner.

I agree with jetrbby 80316. It's hard to separate the three. Success depends on all three.
I don't believe you can separate the 3. All 3 are co-dependent on the others.
Writing great content itself and getting ranked depends on good keyword search practices and frequency of posting.
Without good keyword search you cannot have good ranking content, and without frequency of posting, your great content will be wasted.
I think social media should be thrown in there as well. Just like an aspiring actor or artist, you have to make yourself known or the rest doesn't mean a thing.
Which of these are most important?

I am creating a post about Wealthy Affiliate success stories. I am wanting to use your success story, along with your name and website of your choice. I will gladly post your s
I will save this for future use, just starting out but a fantastic idea for when things really start moving forward.
You may want to consider doing screenshots of success stories people make on WA blog posts here and use those screenshots with affiliate links to send people to the page and if they sign up, you'll get the commission.
Good idea. I was afraid that might not be too kosher. I'll put that idea to good use:) thanks!
Why wouldn't it be? You can use screenshots easily and then tell people to learn more by seeing the FULL article on how so and so became successful. Excellent link opportunity.

Would you like a little free publicity of one of your sites?

- I have an old blogger.com blog that I haven't used in years and am considering copying all of my posts from my WA website to my old blogger site. These posts have amazon a
So is there any way to know how much I would need to rewrite to keep the old site from being penalized?
Your old site won't get penalized, it's content you copy over the new site that will. Just take the same ideas but write them in a new, unique way, way better to do this than worry about your site getting punished by Google, believe me.
You may be penalized by the search engines due to duplicate content!
The best thing to do would be to re-write them so they are not recognizable.
Would both sites be penalized or just the old one that does the copying. That would be OK. But I don't want my newer WA site to be penalized. The old blogger site has followers from years past. I'm just thinking of getting my new content in front of their eyes without rewriting it. That's my only motive.
Despite the age of your old website, simply pasting content from that site to you new site will likely be seen as using duplicate content. I think it best to rewrite the older posts unless you want to cite those posts. I believe the affiliate links should still work as long as you are still an affiliate and as long as the link has not been changed by the publisher.

When it comes to sharing links to your blogs and articles, what sites other than these do you use or would you suggest using?
- Flickr
- Google<
I'm presently using fb, and g+. In the future I may also use Instagram. That's all.
If I had more time, then I would have considered all.
You have pretty much got it covered, my friend.,,
(I always stay away from any of the social sites but that is me)
Brady - Looks like you have them all. I use G+ and just set up my fan page on Facebook today. Lots of work to still do. Thanks for sharing.
you have plenty here. Facebook alone can do a lot for your blogs when it comes to getting traffic. Best to concentrate on one and master it then move onto another one.
