I'm a full time online marketer. Through my 8+ years in the field, I have learned many things, but the most important being at WA.

Overall, the truth in this business like any other for that matter is that you learn more from your mistakes than anything else. I've done more incorrect things than right, but it's also true it's better to try and fail than not try at all.

As you enter this business, you'll likely be overwhelmed with all the information there is. Just take a deep breath and process it all at a pace you're comfortable with and it will all make sense quicker than you think!

Online marketing can really be an amazing opportunity if you stick with it. It's opened many doors for me and I know it will for you too!

For anyone reading this profile hoping to take something from it, take this: In this business, you have to try, even if you have no idea what to do, do something and see what happens. Through that you will find a path to the ideal way to success and always remember WA is here to help!

There are alot of helpful people here at WA, but the best advice comes from the most experienced users. If you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I'll be more than happy to help you out as best as I can.

Thank you!

I am currently studying the affiliate section of the training materials. I have already created many pages and posts. I am confused, however, because compared to other websites I have viewed, my website looks terrible. Perhaps, I missed the sections that cover the proper appearance of the website or that section comes later, but, I am reluctant to join affiliate programs and submit my website for fear that they will look at it and deem me to be unworthy of consideration.

Please help

Hi John, this may be a subjective thing as people tend to always think other's work looks better than theirs. You can always change the theme/template of your site and it'll change it's look but if you're doing the training, completing the tasks, I assure you, you're doing the right thing. I personally don't like visually appealing sites and in my years, a plain site works better than a none plain site.

Hi, I'm brand new to this.

I saw your blog post, and you said that this is the only place where you honestly can make money.

Can I ask what the best place to start is and the FASTEST way to start earning money?

I'm not interested in paying a monthly fee unless I'm first making money doing this.

Also, will it work if I'm from Canada?

Thanks,
Christian

Hi Christian, the thing is when it comes to the fastest way to make money, you have to invest money into doing things like paid advertising. Honestly, any business where serious money is involved takes hard work.

In WA, you get the straight approach to reach this success in the cheapest way possible. People have built a career doing this like I have. Do not make the mistake of going after the quick riches because they do not happen and people lose money and time doing it. Also this may help:

What, in your opinion is the time commitment required to make $500 per week NET as a beginner?
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
First you need to write a lot of content and have your website established as a good authority. Once that happens which can take 3-6 months typically, then your business will grow.

There is no set amount of time or specific date to reach this, it depends on your own work, what you promote and how hard you work, every little bit of work you put in now, pays later for a long time to come.

Again, you're chasing the time frame and looking for fast results, speaking from experience, this is the wrong mindset which leads to failure 100% of the time, focus on the training, working hard and getting a great business up and the money will come.

Hi, thanks for your quick replies.

I do realize that there's no such thing as a magic pill, but I'm not sure about this business model of putting up a site, and writing about the products.

For example, do I have to purchase the product, and then write a review, or do I just simply write reviews for random products?

The idea of blogging and then making money seems extremely difficult. A lot of the time it's really just talking to yourself, I don't know anything about getting traffic. And even after I have traffic, conversions will be very low
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
You just answered your own question in the last part of your comment Christian, you haven't been in this business so the things you believe about it are completely not the case.

Your writing is what leads Google to you and then Google ranking your site and then that leading to traffic. As for product reviews, you can certainly buy them and it does make for a better review, but it is optional in the long run.

The key is to know the niche and thus know the products even without purchasing them. Your expertise in the niche topic makes it easy to review products you haven't bought but based on their parameters or what you know about the niche, you can provide a good review of it and you're not promoting everything, but things you also don't like to lead into affiliate promotions of things you do like.

It all stems from the niche topic you chose Mahamed and explaining who you are and why this niche topic is important to you, sharing your history on it and explaining why you can help people in the niche. Try to tackle the about me page from that angle.

Have been on a mission to find a home online. I understand and have written extensively about community and support on my Blogspot blog. However, creating everything from scratch has proven to be somewhat unrealistic. I have recently blown through MLSP, GlobalNPN and therefore have a frame of reference. Initially, just having gone through the first introductory training, I am very encouraged. I want to take my existing resources and port them to a more professional and robust environment. One final thing, at 61, I have recently lost my job (December) so there is a lot riding on my success at this juncture. Therefore, any help and guidance will be both valued and appreciated.

Hi Richard, what I would do is take the knowledge you attained from the other programs you mentioned, but do not use their strategies unless WA also recommends the same thing.

The thing is if you didn't see success from those things, odds are their advice was not good, which is why if you follow the training and advice of WA, you will get results.

So that is my advice. I would not abandon the experiences of the other programs though, but put the WA training ad priority #1.

Hi Vitaly, I'm going to shoot you some doubts, sorry, but I really don't know anything about this, so, excuse me.
1. Difference betwen Adsense ads, affiliate program, and advertising program?
2. What are they and which is better?
3. If I going to make a website about the labrador, which will be my keyword?
4. With WA, Do I get my own domain?
5. What's Aweber, should I use it, how can I get it?
6. How I contact relevant companies?
I'm in lesson 2, maybe the answer is ahead and I'm just rushing my self. But I like to know this.
Hope you can help me with this and with others onwards.

1. Adsense is a program where you put Google ads on your site and they pay you each time someone clicks. Affiliate program is a program you sign up with to promote products through your site. Advertising program is where you put up ads on Google and Bing's search engine to get clicks/traffic.

2. Affiliate programs are better than adsense because they pay more. Advertising programs are only good to use once your site makes money for free because then you can use that money to set up ads and pay for them.

3. You will find plenty of keywords: Labrador care, how to take care of Labradors, ect...you'll find out how to find keywords for your niche throughout the training.

4. You get a free sub domain, but ideally, buying your own is better and through WA, it's cheap and at a flat rate. Other places charge you more each year (you pay yearly for a domain).

5. It's a program used to collect emails and automatically send out emails to people who subscribe on your website. Right now you don't need it, just do the training.

6. If by relevant companies, you mean affiliate programs, you can just sign up with places like petco, amazon associates and other places (WA shows you where to find affiliate programs), sign up with them and then promote their products, but don't do this until the training says to.

Hi Vitality !
I am thinking of promoting basketball shooting technique training niche as i personally had spent some time did some research on it in the past few years. However, i couldn't find any relevant affiliate product in big internet retailer like ''amazon'' , ''clickbank'' but i found few affiliate programs from google search which i am not sure is it reliable or not. Wondering should i still stick to this niche ?
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
Basketball training is a decent niche, but if you target something like for kids, it may be better. In that case, you can promote actual basketballs, basketball hoops people can set up in their backyard and even things like basketball gear.

But you may also have to make videos and tutorials on shooting and playing as well to help illustrate what you're aiming to give your audience.

Keep this in mind in this niche.

Hi Vitaliy, I have gone through till lesson three and working on the choosing niche. Two things immediately comes to my mind is one Photography, and Pet supplies. Both are very generic terms, how to get into these and pick specific things as niche. Myself and my son both are budding photographers, we have a domain also "dadandsonphotography dot com" and a facebook page too. Both of us are also interested in Dogs, so these 2 things comes to my mind. Need help to move further on this. Thanks !
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
Well a pet niche is broad, perhaps dog supplies (also broad) and maybe a specific breed OR things like puppy supplies would be a good niche.

I would not use the training from WA for your existing site yet, but to try a new one to explore the training, gain an experience from it and take the lessons onto the old site and/or continue with the site you make in WA if it becomes successful.

Thanks a lot for your advise, similar to puppy supplies. Photography is also broad. I wanted to target beginners, so can you advise something on there also. Regards

Photography has to be more specific like best cameras for taking pictures or best cannon cameras, things of that sort.

I just got charged 299 out of my account (the charge was actually done on November 30th but didn't show up until today, 6 days later, so I couldn't cancel right away. I do not want this anymore. I have gotten nothing out of it (not saying it's your fault) but I think best business practices would indicate a 30 day notice of automatic renewal so people can decide if they want to keep it. Is there some way that I can get my 299 back? I would have cancelled if I had known... Thanks for the response

Greetings,

I saw one of your comments from someone's post and decided to "follow".

You seem to have a "wealth" of information, I'll make sure to make a mental note. I appreciate what you shared about taking the time to process everything "at a pace you're comfortable with." That was a lesson I had to learn the hard way: within a few weeks, although I seemed to have "found a groove" with blogging, I got a little stuck with one lesson in particular: Course #1 Lesson #7: Finding Content Ideas from Keywords. Even though it's one of the first things Kyle talks about in the video, I overlooked that a keyword can be a word or a phrase; that misstep alone cost me a week or more. I'll be coming up to my 2 month mark by the end of this week; since I hard to start from scratch (it's all covered in one of my blogs), I'm still going though the lessons, but I definitely have a much better understanding of the power of keywords.

Well, it's been fun chatting with you VitaliyG (granted, I've been doing all the talking, but still....). Looking forward to connecting with you again!

Hey there, I seem to be at something of a sticking point, so far still deciding on a theme which seems overwhelming. I've looked at the themes offered on the starter membership, the themes on premium as well as other websites with similar interest to what I'm going to be doing. This leads me to a question concerning premium. If I go premium and for some reason I don't pay the monthly fees and I'm locked out of my account. Do I have a certain amount of time to re subscribe in risk of losing my content forever? or will all my content be waiting behind a locked door ready to be repossessed once I start making back the payments?

Your progress is saved on your site, however if it's hosted on WA and you leave, you will get 30 days to move the site to another hosting provider. However as for membership progress, that stays until you return whenever that may be.

Dear Vitality

I have a couple questions to ask and ideas to run by you. I just finished watching the niche video and for the most part it is easy to understand. However in the video, Kyle mentions something about a niche being too broad. Isn't a broader niche supposed to be a god thing? Wouldn't a broader niche reach a wider audience? Or is it by making your niche so broad you spread yourself too thin?
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
In some cases yes, but in terms of unidentified, this is what the problem is with broad niches, it tries to tackle too many general audiences and thus it combines the competition of all those topics which makes your site harder to rank for. More broad niches take WAY more time to make money with and often don't make as much because they aren't as defined.
Reply
CaptainH Premium
Thanks for the prompt reply. Okay I have an idea I'd like to run by you concerning niche markets. I like playing video games. So I was considering creating a website to talk or blog about upcoming games I'm excited for and will be playing when they come out. With the affiliate marketing part I can send them to sites like Amazon which sells games consoles and other things game related.
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
In this particular case, maybe a YouTube channel and playthroughs will work as well. You can do this in addition to the site you make and connect the videos there.
Reply
CaptainH Premium
Thanks for the reply again. That thought has also crossed my mind but at the moment I don't have any video recording equipment. Maybe sometime down in the future I can implement that feature, but for right now is my niche market a good idea?
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
It's broad, but can work through YouTube.
Reply
CaptainH Premium
Okay, could i get a little insight why you think its broad and how can I narrow down my area to fit a certain niche
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
Video games can be anything. It can be console games, it can be computer games, it could be different genres, a whole wide range of topics. On YouTube, you can build your brand name by playing them, but on your site, targeting them all is going to make it tougher against website competition, it's 2 different areas of SEO, and for games, youTube is better.
Reply
CaptainH Premium
Thanks once again for your response. Don't mean to be a nuisance, but before moving forward I have to absolutely nail this niche thing down. I get what you're saying about gaming and now that you mention it I see how it can be broad from that point of view. I think I plan to narrow it down to console gaming, the Ps4 and the Xbox one. Will that be a problem seeing that both consoles share many of the same games. If push comes to shove I can even narrow my niche down to the ps4 and then move unto other consoles as other niches (I do have a ps vita and if successful I would like to branch off into that niche also). Also the main genre will be mostly action adventure games that has caught my attention. I hope I've narrowed it down enough. Once again thanks for your help.
Reply
VitaliyG Premium
You can do that, but honestly, anything video game related is more of a visual type of niche so you really need to think about making that YouTube channel if you want to make this work.

You can totally do reviews on PS4 and Xbox games but it's still a niche where you're competing against IGN, Gamestop and other review sites so adding the video review element is where you can get ahead of them.

Like I said, make a YouTube channel and do playthroughs of the games you're reviewing and link those videos (in the description) back to a text review you're doing on the game/s.

Hi Karen, if you purchase a domain, you will not be able to change a word inside the domain. Only siterubix sites can have this done if you create a new, free one, but honestly given the circumstances, I would keep the current site. The naming of it doesn't really have much of an impact on your progress or with Google.

Thanks for your reply and information.
Please email me one or two of the affiliate URLs links you are
using right now, just to take a look. I won't copy them.
If you can not do it here in your WA profile, please email direct to my email . Have a great weekend
Thanks

Thanks for your reply Vitaliy,
No, obviously if you are my sponsor, I already have your website and your information
.
All I am asking from you is a copy of two or three URLs links of the affiliates websites you have created to promote some of your other affiliate products you sell. I don't want to copy them, just take a look at them.
Thanks

Unfortunately I can't post links here due to TOS violations, but the one in my profile is my main project. I have a few others, but they are minuscule compared to that one.

Are you referring to: http: // howtomakeho,
I don't see anything other than WA info there.

Can you send me a private message with the info or is that a violation too?

Not sure about PM's but yes that's the site. If you visit the homepage, there are PLENTY of blog posts so you can get an idea of this. Also in the training, Kyle shows you his site as well as reference. I just built mine around that same style.

Hi VitaliyG
I think I may have chosen the wrong niche. I am on lesson 9 and I don't really have real life information to put in my content. I guess it is too late to change my niche. I originally wanted to do skin care. What do you recommend?
If you only work at this on a part time basis, is it possible to earn any money?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Rita, as long as you didn't buy a domain name for your niche site, you really didn't go wrong, lots of people change their minds on this. All you need to do is replicate the same lessons on a different niche you like.

And yes if you work part time with this, you can earn money.

Hi VitaliyG. I just joined WA and I am very new to Internet Marketing. I tried it in the past, but was either scammed or I got no support at all. So, I just became discouraged and quit.. Since joining WA, I feel very welcomed here and I feel at home. The community here is like one big family. I truly need this to work as my current working situation is only part time. This time, I am giving it my all because of all the wonderful support here. It feels great to be part of WA.

Vitaliy, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME??? I've emailed WA and messaged Carson with no response. Right after I joined I received news of a death in my family and cannot be in my home with my computer to continuing the process. If I unsubscribe now ,can i resubscribe in a month or so when I get back in my state to my home and computer? Please let me know how to proceed. I signed up based on your recommendation and will sign up under you if I can. Thanks, Karen Robertson (KRobertson)

Hi Karen, please accept my condolences! You have nothing to worry about, as a starter you can stay signed into WA and not pay anything until you want to. You can also come back to WA and start right where you left to anytime, so take all the time need and come back when you're ready, we'll be here.

If you have ANY problems, email me: Lazyyankvg@gmail.com

Like the content I've been able to access so far but having technical problems and seems impossible to get answers. in the Chat Room I've gotten a few suggestions but none have worked and can't get answers from anyone knowledgeable. If this keeps up I guess I'll have to drop out as I can't move forward if no one answers questions! That was one of the selling points for this program but it isn't turning out to be true. Quite frustrating! Right now I'm trying to find out how to upload photos from my iPhone to my webpage before I get it reviewed. Asked in several places over the past few days and no answer. I currently work from public computers as I live in a rural area with no internet access. Thus getting things done in a timely manner is vital to success. I've been stalled for days on this problem and can't move on past course 2, lesson 3 without getting it done apparently!

Sorry to hear Kathlee! I also have a similar problem on my phone. What I do is I take the image i want to put up, send it to my email via text message and then get the image uploaded on my site, but since you don't have internet access from anything other than the phone, this is going to be a problem.

Unless you can connect your computer's network adaptor to your phone's wireless network, this isn't going to work.

HOWEVER, if this is your biggest problem, I would not worry because you need to focus entirely on content writing. Images will come later and it's no rush to put them up. I recommend focusing on writing the content if you can and when the opportunity comes, to add the images.

Thanks! I did finally get one image uploaded by plugging my phone into the computer but it had the data strip top and bottom that I wanted to get rid of and the cropping feature wouldn't work in Wordpress - mostly it was grey and just dysfunctional but finally after multiple attempts it finally came to life. I was really excited! Got the photo cropped and in place, then went to view the page with it in place and it had reverted back to the uncropped photo

Yeah I understand that can totally be annoying! But trust me, this image issue isn't the main priority for your site. The main priority is to build out content and you can do that by writing.

The images will come later. I know it's important to you that the site look good but trust me on this.
