Importance of meditation throughout the day

I just had to take a moment and sit in peace with my favorite meditation mix in the background. I think it is imperative to do so throughout the day in order to optimize our creativity as well as block out any external negative weakness or pain that may be causing us not to live to our fullest potential. I know it helps me. How many of you meditate throughout the day or to begin or end it? Hope everyone is doing well this Thursday afternoon.
