I'm going through a written tutorial but cannot understand it. It's very difficult and I can't afford to pay for the WPML Multilingual. As money goes towards ongoing treatments

What is the best translator language plugin twentyfourteen?
Hi
My study in New Zealand website needs to for Eng and Thai Translations. I've had problems with WP Language, Polygon and Xili-Lang getting them to work with Twentyfour
When I first built my site I entered the domain name and site rubix said it was available. Now it says it isn't. So if I can make sense of it. Does that mean that the domain i
SiteRubix is not a domain registrar and will not tell you whether or not a domain is available for purchase or not, you will have to go to a site like namecheap.com for that.
I would recommend picking up something similar in this case, you don't need to get the exact domain name as your .siterubix site for it to be good. Aim to get a .com though as they tend to rank the best.
Here is a walk-through on how to choose a domain name:

Yer, that to me is an anomaly. How can that be when last week it was available also on Goadddy now it's not. Does Godaddy monitor names and then buy them?
I'm thinking too far into it I know but this is strange to me.
No, but there are millions of people buying domain names. One of them bought it before you did. Choosing Siterubix subdomain doesn't mean reserving domain name. Now forget about it and find even better name for your site. :)
I always wondered about typing in any domain name with godaddy or namecheap until I am ready to buy and now after learning a bit more in Jaaxy I know for sure, there are people out there who can see what is being searched and buy them up - that may not have happened in your case, it could just be a coincidence as that is a title others could come up with quite easily too - but you learned early in your career. The siterubix is a different system, that's why there are more names available on it.
Thanks Moz. I leaning towards 'being searched and buy them up. I feel it ain't no coincidence based upon the fact that my domain was not what I posted. It was a rather unique domain name for Study in New Zealand, that is why I am in total agreeance with you on this one!
What are the odds are figuring out domain that is of someones elses mind.
My mind is made up. Someone is watching and I'm not happy about it. Trying to bank in. I'm not buying for it was only 1.24usd two weeks ago. Now after paying 26usd to ask the buyer how much. He came back with 350usd. I says...it doesn't matter what I said.
I asked godaddy when was it brought, about 2wks ago they said.
I'm over it but I'll be treading very lightly before I even enter a domain name.

I have tried code to remove from the footer in Edit - Footer.php Theme:twentyfourteen of the latest version. I want to keep the Proudly Powered by Wordpress just not the theme n
<?php do_action( 'twentyfourteen_credits' ); ?>
If you have found out how to open footer.php in your editor then you need to remove this line of code. Or you could just comment it out by adding "//" in front of the word do_
Thanks a million for this but it doesn't work and have used browsers Chrome & Fire Fox. It's really stressing me out.
I installed this theme on one of my sites that I am not currently developing.
http://petfurry.com/
I deleted the exact code I put in this post and you can see that it only shows the powered by wordpress in the footer
Hang in there, Carson will get back to you or support if you opened up a support ticket.
Since it is just the footer, maybe you can keep going through the training and maybe create some content while you are waiting.

Yes, I'm starting to now. But, you know the Theme name is just bugging me bad...lol
I start working then I view then I scroll down looking at the widgets and additional plugins to see if they are working then I see it. Driving me nuts, as I was told by a friend who led me back to try WA again says to remove it based upon his personal clientele base.
Especially when starting out as it's best to use them Themes and follow any instruction videos and material to build with that theme using there topography. Instead of me trying to work out my own typography. This advice was gold as I see the value in it. After I've created more than enough designs. Then I can start putting my own personal touch to it.
When did you download TwentyFourteen for http://petfurry.com. Maybe it's the latest version that I'm having a problem with?
To me it doesn't look professional. The wordpress footer does though.
I'll keep trying again :) I'll let you know how I go in a few hours...humph :(
Whenever I put Wordpress on my sites, I do it different than what is going on here at WA. When I install Wordpress it automatically loads Twenty Fourteen, Twenty Thirteen, and Twenty Twelve.
So I just activated it and went to the editor. I didn't put any categories or posts in which is why it doesn't look as professional as what you have.
I mean the footer Theme:twentyfourteen doesn't look professional not your website...if that's what you were referring too? I did see the footer and the Theme:twentyfourteen is removed on the site.
I have just figured out that twentyfourteen has a mind of its own. First it works then it doesn't. Then it works randomly. Like a couple of hours ago I thought I had it. Then next minute...the default footer is back.
The stress...humph!!!!!!!
I just figured it out. It is the Jetpack plugin 'Infinite Scroll' is what's causing the problem. When it is activated a ghost footer appears with 'Powered by Wordpress Theme:twentyfourteen' Then it disappears when the frontpage reaches the end of all posts then appears my footer credits 'Powered by Wordpress | Created by xyz
This issues arises only when there is posts to be read if it's a static page without scrolling then it doesn't appear. This is strange for me as I don't know what to do as I'm illiterate in html & css...MLS :(
I don't use Jetpack for 2 reasons, one it has a lot of overhead built into it, which causes pages to load slower which isn't good from a user experience perspective.
The second reason is that it causes conflicts like this between themes and other plugins.
Give yourself credit for figuring it out. That is just Awesome
