I can see Trish has answered this.
If there are only a few posts, I would rather use the "copy & paste" method. If you are using this method, I would suggest to copy the html and not the text to make sure the formatting still intact.
All the best.
Joe
Thank you for your input, Joe! I'm not yet sure how many of the posts I will keep so I will keep your advice in mind.
I appreciate your help.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with this and happened to learn a solution before I go to SiteSupport. I'm trying to verify my website ownership on Google Console a
I just got off the phone with Google and they said they just don't like you. lol Just kidding my brother! I didn't have a problem with any of the sites I verified. I've also never inserted and HTML files into the head section of the site. I've always taken the code in between the parentheses blahblahblah"CODE"blahblahblah and inserted into the Google Webmaster field of AiO SEO, updated, then went back to G Search Console and it was verified. Maybe this link will help, direct from Semper Fi. Hope this helps bro! :-)
https://semperplugins.com/documentation/google-webmaster-tools-verification/
Well that's OK, I don't like them either! Lol.
I did it just like Semper Plugins said to and it still didn't verify. It's been quite perplexing because it should be a very "simple" process.
I'll check it out again tonight after work. Maybe I missed something.
My next thought is to contact SiteSupport. I've wasted a lot of time dealing with this.
Thanks for reading out, brother!

Update: Site is verified! Google Analytics method. Found I was putting that "code" in the Google Webmaster Tools section instead of the Google Analytics section a little bit lower on the page. Oops!

The Google Search Console says how you will do it, you have to follow. Those are all done in your dashboard head section.

Kyle did a great video on this. If you have the All In One SEO installed, it is super easy. Check out the video.
How to Install Google Analytics Using the All in One SEO Plugin
Thanks Lisa. I have seen the video and it is super easy. Unfortunately, it's still not verifying.
Sorry, bummer! I know I had a really hard time getting mine set up. Hope you find a resolution soon.

Hey Bob,
The Google Console describes different methods of getting verified. One of them is downloading a file they send and uploading it to your website. That has always worked for me. If that was the way you are doing it, you could try a different method to see if that will take.
Best Regards,
Jim
HTML file upload is a little bit difficult so I used the 4 others. If you have verified it with three to four methods that will be enough.
Hey Bob,
You download from Google Console to your hard drive. Then, you'll need to FTP it to your website. Jimmy (@accad) is correct in saying that is a bit involved. However, you will probably want to learn how to use FTP as you may need it one day for other reasons, i.e., a theme may not be recognized as a Zip file, etc. You would then need to upload the theme (or plugin) to your site using FTP.
I only mention the method because it has worked for me for all of my websites. You could try the other ways first and if you are still having trouble, then use the FTP way. Just in case, here is a link to training on how to do it. Using FTP To Access Your Site It's really not bad once you get the idea. You can reach out to me or others if you get stuck. That's the great part of this membership!
Best Regards,
Jim

When you visit your home page of your site, does the site display to you in less than 3 seconds?
That might suggest that your server timeout issue that Google experienced earlier might be fixed...
Maybe have another go ....
I had trouble a few weeks ago and in the end I used FTP to upload a HTML file to my website, and that took. I use a tool called FileZilla when using FTP. The FTP details to access your site are in the Site Manager under Details.

I just transferred a siterubix.com site to my own .com website. What do I need to do concerning Google webmaster tools? Do I have to cancel one at Google Search Console and sub
Treat it like a brand new site and add all versions of your website to Search Console:
http://
https://
http://www
https://www
Thanks, Marion. I figured that might be the case.
Let me ask you this: Do I have to delete the old one which, i believe, still "points" to the new one?
I would leave it there for at least 30 days then remove it from Search Console and delete the site. You'll want to give it time for the changeover to be completely effective.
I didn't do the Google thing until after I transferred to my own domain, but it would make sense to transfer it. That's just my two cents worth.
Thanks. Yeah, I was trying to help the old one index on Google. So, now I need to know what to do after the transfer.
Just do what you would normally do. Content, low hanging fruit keywords, etc... And repeat as many times as possible. Have patience. It will get there. Leave your SitrRubix place in place for 30 days so that your old readers are redirected and you should be good as gold in no time.

My website is unsecured. SiteSSL in SiteManager indicates it is unavailable. Did I miss something in my setup? Or, do some themes not support it?
I had a free SiteRubix.com that would not allow it until I bought my own domain. Same theme.
Clay.
