Project G: First Commission in 1.5 Months!
Hey guys,
Hope everyone is doing well!
I decided to write another post in a short time, this time covering my newest website (aka Project G).
Some of you follow us documenting Project G on my LaptopLifestyleBeauty website, but for those of you who do not, I wanted to share some exciting news here on WA as well.
If you're new, here is a quick recap of what's happened:
I have had a really successful last couple of months, reaching nearly $10,000 in earnings in December on my main website, so I decided to start a new website with Richard (a fellow WAer).
The niche we picked for this is VERY competitive but also extremely high-paying - one sale can earn us a minimum of $5,000, and we heard $20,000 - $50,000 commissions are pretty standard.
So we started building out a website in December and here our our general stats for January and February:
- Articles published: 19
- Videos published: 6 (excluding shorts)
- Pageviews: 619
- YouTube views: 3.2K
Nothing crazy for two months, but we go for top-notch quality - professional designs, professional video editing, high-quality writers, etc.
And guess what?!
It paid off.
Because mid February we made our first commission. YAY!
This $200 can become $5000+ if our qualified lead decides to buy products from the company we're promoting!
Of course, $200 is not much, especially with how much money we're investing into the website, but it's a proof you can start making money in a couple of months if you put your mind to it and focus on quality :)
I don't want to make this a long post, especially since we publish full coverage of Project G on LLB website (link on my WA profile in "My Links" section), but wanted to share this with you.
We also decided to offer help to those who do follow us and read our monthly posts on there, so even you can achieve these results fairly quickly.
The first commission is a big step in making it online, and we'd love to see you guys achieve that to really break through and come closer to being full-time online entrepreneurs.
Hopefully this post motivates you (I remember reading every single success story here on WA when I was starting out), and gives you the energy you need to crush your goals in 2023.
As always, if you have any questions, ask away! Both Richard and I love helping you guys on your journey and giving back to the community.
To your success!
Zarina

Hello Zarina, I have commented a few times on your posts and yet you haven't responded once. It's imperative to respond to comments when you want to build a loyal following.
Could you please add a "Subscribe to newsletter" button on your website so people can be notified of all new posts?
Interesting comment.
I removed the subscribe plugins from my site because the bots loved it.
A few even snuck past the black hole for bots plugin.
I still allow comments, which works quite well, although some spam still comes through.
I have noticed quite a few websites no longer have a subscribe button.
I no longer do newsletters, so for me it was just a pain cleaning out dud emails.
My 2 cents anyway.
Michael.
Thanks a lot for your $2. Highly appreciated and it's worth a lot more than just 2c.
You should use a Google Captcha or similar to avoid bots from invading the subscribe thingy. There are plugins with the Captcha included, so you can eliminate that bug. Subscriptions to a newsletter or blog updates are imperative for ongoing engagement to your workplace.
Hi Hein,
I almost always respond to comments on my WA posts within the first 2 days of publishing.
Have you commented on old posts or after the post was no longer in Top 10?
I don't receive WA comment emails and don't check the notifications, so it's 100% possible I missed your comments if they were submitted on old posts.
Those who follow me on WA for a while, know that I am approachable and respond whenever I can, but please understand that I'm also busy with my websites and channels and only have 24 hours in a day :)
My business partner said he'll get to creating a newsletter for that site, but for now you can turn on the push notifications (it pops up when you go on the website, though you might have to clear cache first for it to appear again).
Thanks for your comment, Hein.
I just clicked on WA notifications and yes, now I see them. For what's worth, I don't click on the notification thing because it's taking forever to load and I have no patience lol.
I also noticed your communication with Richard, and he actually mentioned you in our convo (I didn't know it was you, just that you're interested in a newsletter).
P.S. I think I've answered all your other comments, hope it helps!
Always happy to help out, if I actually see the questions though :) Appreciate your support, Hein!
Excellent stuff Zarina! Thank you for posting; it keeps us motivated :-)
I'm very much at the other end of the scale. Around 20 months in now and I've generated a few small commissions.
But then I only get to spend a couple of hours a day on my site, sometimes less and a little more at the weekend.
It's very much a part time operation at the moment.
Motivation and consistency are key. I'm visualising that happy day when I can "fire my boss" and do this full time ...
It will happen :-)
Thanks again and more power to you!
Hi Rohan! I think I saw your comment in the emails (for LLB post), but will have to get to it a bit later.
Honestly, it's a long game.
If you go to my blog, you'll have the opportunity to see my other website progress in the last 5 years: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/zarina/blog/
And yes, spending time on it is crucial :)
And when you do, it WILL happen. Wishing you best of luck on your journey, Rohan!
Great to hear from you again Zarina and it sounds like your new site is off to a flyer!
With the knowledge gained here there are no limits to what can be achieved!
Take care my friend and I can't wait to hear about your inevitable future success!
👍😊
Thank you, Nick! Richard and I are certainly excited for what's to come and can't wait to share the journey with you guys! :)
Hi Zarina, I read in your site about the writer issue.
How about checking the text directly by ChatGPT? It should know best if this was its text. I did it once, and it said it was AI created. I asked how do you know, it replied "because I created it". This was indeed its texts which I then reshaped using its own prompts to make it human like.
Try it, I would be curious to know what it says.
By the way, I do not think that Google will care in any case. It seems they say this publicly.
Hi Jovo!
Interesting, I'll definitely give it a try. I'm pretty behind on the AI stuff lol, don't even know how to use ChatGPT.
As for Google, could you please share their public announcement about that?
Overall, I still feel like we should produce humanly made content, I fear that in a few years Google would change their mind and wipe out the AI content websites.
Thanks for following along, and appreciate your support!
I can test it from my side, cut and paste some part of the text if you want and send me. I do not blame you for being behind, this thing is developing too fast and there is no doubt it will rule completely very soon.
I still type with my two fingers, but I feel this is a lost battle.
This about Google, I saw it somewhere from somebody who is well informed but cannot even remember who this was. If I get it sometimes I shall let you know. The apparent statement from Google was similar to this: 'we do not care how the content is created as long as it provides useful information which our visitor is looking for'. Sounds logical after all.
Ah, I already passed the info to Richard to check the content, thanks for the offer!
I wish I was used to using voice to text, that would speed up the process, but I feel ESL folks generally prefer to just type.
Interesting position, I mean there's logic to it, but as of right now I'll stick to humanly written content, especially for such a serious niche website like Project G.
I'll definitely keep an eye out and listen to what people say!
It is machine against machine. Google rates your posts by a machine, so you can use this new machine to prepare it for such a test.
Check recent trainings and blogs by Diane, she built a site in 16 days with 80 posts all using AI, almost all indexed instantly. This is a mutual affection between machines; my 2-finger-typed posts do not get indexed so fast, some of them never.
I missed her content, thanks for the tip! Will check them out and maybe even do a test site with AI content myself.
In fact check her comment on Phil's blog, here it is ChatGPT: New 663 Word Post Created in 30 Minutes, Google Indexed in 60

Hello Zarina,
Thank you for your blog post, I know it's a few months old, but I was wondering how you are progressing on your website. I will have a look at your website to see your progress, I hope that everything is going well.
It's an interesting experiment as you have already proved yourself successful, which is fantastic. Plus you are working with other successful people, so you all know what you are doing. I hope that leads into something fantastic.
Wishing you all the best.
Roy

Hello Richard,
It's a pleasure! I actually have Zarina's website open in a tab! I started reading your progress yesterday, but I still have another couple of posts to read!
Well done for taking on such a massive challenge.
I wish you every success.
