I have been searching thru the plugins and I did found a very popular one, you can also see that users are able to edit posts and manage them in their account.
But I am not sure if that are only their own posts are also site posts...

I paste it at the Text widgets for the side bars.
As for the page, need to go to the 'Text'' at edit page (usual we are at 'visual', top right side of box).
Paste link at where you want, save and go back visual to continue your work...
Hope this answer is what you are looking for.

I paste mine into into the Text widget which I then put in the side bar, it should work just like that.

Thank you both for your help. The widgets were iframe so I'll try changing them to the JavaScript option and see whether that helps.

Hi Sammi, The amazon code you put in the text widget was it Javascript or Iframe. For some reason Amazon iframe does not work good in text widgets. Try using the JavaScript code that works most of the time.

Top widget is still missing, and the only thing I can think is there is a problem with the code you pasted in there. Hace you tried to post a different widget in there to see if you still have the same problem?

No Author and Date on pages

I think the difference here is pages or posts. In post I believe it comes automatically, I know mine does. For a page, as jvranjes says, it is a fixed publication that is not time specific.

Thanks guys, my pages are coming up as errors on Google Webmaster because of the lack of author/date info so I'm doing it to make them happy!

I goes with what jvranjes said on the subject.

You do not want date on pages, these are supposed to be evergreen content.

But if you do, then make posts and put them into main menu, there is no difference between posts and pages. Here is the link on how to add posts into main menu.

Kathy has it right -- your blogs with their comments are public, but questions and "offer feedback" are just for WA unless you also put your feedback after Capcha on their website.

People in your network will be notified of any questions or blogs you create as long as they have their notification settings set up to receive them.
All content at WA, apart from pm and live chat is indexed and visible on the web.
As Jean says, the comment section is different. :)

Your network will be notified of your blogs, but comments you request will be visible to all.

My understanding is your network is advised about your blogs if you have that notification turned on. The actual blog and comments however are visible to anyone.

Just you and site owner you comment will see it.nobody else.

The comment section is totally different than your network. You will see websites in the comment section from all of WA. Your blogs etc here at WA, will be seen by your network.
