Hey networkphili, thanks for the feedback! Question; how about google Analytics, Bing webmasters, etc? Do I have to reinstall them again?

So once you go premium your Seo will transfer automatically

I wonder why some people would not follow you, even when it is beneficial for their membership ranking on WA network.
this could be either because they have reached their limit which is 2000 , or new members may not realise. personally I would not unfollow soomeone for this
Some new members don't understand the Follow. I wouldn't unfollow anyone for any kind of petty or perceived slight. Follow everyone, it can only help.

Because of your question, I decided to check my network. I have 619 followers but I am following 947 people. I am not worried about that because I love the relationship I have built with those that have followed me. I could have something awesome to share but the non followers won't find out. Too bad for them, so don't worry about that.
Membership rank does not depend on who you follow
I follow members who follow me or who catch my attention with a question, blog, or comment.
I never unfollow because I am not followed back. My reasons for unfollowing are my own.
This community has grown immensely since I joined. More people, more personalities, more differing opinions.
There are numerous different personalities in the mix. Not everybody will like each other.
You have the freedom within this community to unfollow anyone you choose to unfollow. No explanation required. But if you unfollow just because someone doesn't follow you back, it is up to you to decide if it is a good idea or not.

I don't make it a policy of unfollowing people on here as I may post something one day that touches them in an important way.
I don't keep track of people I follow that don't follow me back.
I follow somebody that I think I can learn something from when they take the time to blog or write a training for WA.
They bring something to the table, that I can benefit from.
They don't have to follow me back, I may not benefit them with what I write. It's possible.
I have unfollowed people that I followed back at some point, but really don't post stuff of any value (to me).
Sometimes, I forget to click the "Follow Me" button when I respond to a "Following You" message. That's not cool but it does happen from time to time. I try to review the list of folks who are following me and click the Follow button if I forgot but again sometimes a guy just screws up. I don't really know how to tell someone you think they messed up but maybe a simple private message explaining how it improves their rank would be acceptible. Can"t hurt.
I don't know if following some one helps your rank or not. Just repeating what Willie said. To tell the truth, I don't hold a lot of stock in the rank number we get. Guess maybe I don't have a good understanding of the purpose for a ranking number.

Not sure if I can exactly help,
language the computer uses (xml) and (url) is the address or link.
The 'xml tag' I'm not sure sounds like you have not put in a link to a particular piece of code or page.
