I am 67 and a retired Arkansas Deputy Sheriff. I served 3 years in the Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968. I'm also a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran. When I retired from the Sheriff's Department in 1998 at the ripe old age of 49, after being injured on the job I started drawing my Social Security Disability along with my Sheriff's Department retirement. These three incomes served me fairly well at the time but I still felt like I was not able to be financially secure. I tried many fly by night, so called get rich work from home type internet businesses that didn't work and just drained my bank account. I even tried going into business with family and failed at that miserably. That to managed to deplete my finances. At that point I came to the conclusion I probably needed to research things a little more before jumping in head first. That's how I got here. After nearly a year of researching internet businesses I realized I needed training first in stead of just the business. The best one I discovered was Wealthy Affiliate. As they say the rest is history.
WBoyer's Goals 3

Starting out here I would be happy to be able to generate enough residual income that would allow me to discontinue receiving financial government assistance. That would be in the neighborhood of about $1,500.00 a month. To reach an ecstatic level as mention in question 2, it would be the end result of whatever my future earning capabilities become as I progress with WA. Only the future holds the answer to that. Before being forced into retirement a 12 to 16 hour work day was not uncommon. I don't foresee that being a major investment considering the potential return on that same investment should that be required.
