Hi Verna
I'm not sure what you mean by "archive."
For instance, I hold a list of my posts in a database in a place that I call my archive, which is really just a backup.
In the context of WordPress, the word archive is used by WordPress to mean the blogroll. I.e., a list of excerpts for people to be able to browse through in order to find and access what they want.
Please clarify what you are trying to achieve.

I went to WordPress to research how to archive pages that are still informational and useful but the article is more static information that requires little updating. I want to archive them because they were published several years ago. I had the idea to create a new page in the navigation menu specifically for archived articles with a brief description so readers could see if they were interested in reviewing them. WordPress has a specific plugin used for archiving that will show the last time it was updated (some people use the date it was published). I can't quite determine if it will be used just on the blog posts or if it can be used also on website pages. I know I want it to be easily accessible to readers. It will add an "Old Post notification that lets the reader know that the article is a bit older and they should keep that in mind.

Hey Verna,
You could create a site on the SiteRubix server and transfer your corrected content one at a time, until you've finished.
Be sure to go to the new temp site (on the SiteRubix server) Settings > Reading page from the Dashboard an click on the 'Search Engine Visibility option that 'Discourage search engines from indexing this site.
Before you transfer your content from the live site... install your chosen theme and only the necessary plugins to get you started.
Then, whether you want to move all pages and posts or just one page or post, the steps are similar to the one page... and it is even easier to transfer ALL.
I created training here: Move Post or Page From One Website to Another showing moving ONE post... but if you find that too confusing, I'm sure you could find a video tutorial on YouTube to transfer all your content from your LIVE site to your temp site... where you will then fix whatever you need to.
Once your content is all fixed on your SiteRubix site, simply contact SiteSupport and ask them to delete the LIVE site and move the SIteRubix site over to the LIVE site.
VOILA... problem solved.
Hope you find this helpful.
I would take AbiePPlus's advice before you pay anyone outside of WA to even look at your site, outsiders are not always safe, as TheCatherine pointed out.
If the site can be fixed our site support is the best option, if they say to start a new one, I would listen to them, they are geniuses!
I hope this is helpful.

yes, I did once over twenty years ago. I taught outsourcing so I want new to it. I chose someone with hundreds of reviews and he hijacked my site and would not return it until I paid what was then $200.00, and would be quadruple that now.

You have repeatedly been advised to start again; if you're reluctant to do that, then make a copy of your site in a siterubix domain and copy and paste the original over.
Has anyone ever outsourced website error issues?

Hello WA Community! Most of you may know I was away from my website for almost three years, but I returned about three to four months ago. I have been trying to catch up on all
It's 100% up to you, but instead of trying to update your old posts from years back, I'd just create brand new content. It's half the work, your content will be fresh and new, and you can eliminate what would feel like a huge headache trying to sort through old content 👍🏼
Thanks for this reply. So, just deleting the old content will get rid of all the duplicate pages and mega tags? It seems like I would only be deleting the actual article that I wrote, not what was duplicated. One article was duplicated somehow three times. It seems I would have to delete all three, but I don't know where the other three are to even delete them.
By deleting your website and starting fresh on your same domain you're starting with a total clean slate. It's like having an old house with leaks, termites, etc., and you demolish it and build a brand new house in the same lot. 👍🏼
Hi - can I make a suggestion?
Looking at your website, the latest post is coming up to six years old, and you only have about 30 posts.
The world of SEO and making money online has changed dramatically since you last wrote about it, so I suspect that much of your content is way out of date.
There have been multiple Google algorithm updates over the last few years and you are not ranking or getting any traffic.
Amazon has changed too, and your links and images are broken.
Rather than try and fix multiple errors, why not delete the website and start again, using the WA hubs and AI to create a more up-to-date, modern-looking website?
You will have the advantage of using an aged domain, now that you have acquired it again.
Diane, I agree with what you said, but I don't understand how deleting the website and starting over again will allow me to use an aged domain. I created my site back in 2015. Could I use the original creation date when I publish the new updated article? Would the system allow me to go back that far if the article is being initially published in a new website and being crawled for the first time?
Hi - Google knows when the domain name was originally registered in 2015.
And it could add some authority and trustworthiness.
So, you could delete the entire website, and literally have nothing on it, and build a new site.
Just publish brand new content, with the current date.
The date of the posts don't need to be "aged" - just start again with fresh, new content.

Catherine, thank you so much for your response. I don't think I saw that information or misunderstood it from the original Hub training!

Hey Verna,
What exactly is it that you need help with? Perhaps there's another avenue to get you the help you seek.
Hi Trish.
Is it okay if I PM you later? But I would like to know how to get a PM through to Kyle an Carson.
Here's Kyle's: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/message/kyle then click on Report Content... and fill in your question > scroll down and write your message > then click the Send button.
It's basically the same as before, accept now the details field doesn't appear until you type in your question.
And yes, Verna you can ALWAYS DM me as I'm here to help any time I can.
Nope :) The same as the others have stated.
You can now get rolling with your hubs :)
