This is lesson 3 in which I'll show you how to set up your audio and ScreenFlow preferences. Your audio settings are very important because if you get them wrong, you'll have a movie that people will struggle to understand or worse still, may not want to watch.
You'll notice in this lesson I use a small FREE program to control and monitor my audio device which is an all-in-one head set and microphone. If you choose a similar audio input device, you may need the program I use which is called AudioMonitor. If you use a stand alone microphone or the inbuilt microphone on your computer, you shouldn't need the AudioMonitor program.
Here's the AudioMonitor download link: http://macdownload.informer.com/audiomonitor/
Regarding the ScreenFlow preferences, generally these are set up once and will apply to all the movies you make however, you can change your preferences at any time to suit the project you're working on.
This lesson is a very important one so please take the time to understand the steps involved which are quick and easy.
