Hi there and welcome to lesson 17 where I show you how to add music tracks to the start and end of your movies.

Congratulations on reaching this lesson. It's been a long haul but you're now about to learn how to add the final touch to your movie to complete it so it looks and sounds like a professional production.
Adding music to the start and end of your movie is a nice touch which helps you greet your audience and farewell them at the end. Used in conjunction with opening and ending titles (text boxes), music adds a level of professionalism. What's important though, is aligning the music to match your titles and the beginning of your screen recording. This is very easy and once you've done it a couple of times, you'll be adding music to your movies in no time.
This is what the start and end of your movies will look like after music tracks are added...
Intro Music Track At Start Of Movie
Outro Music Track At End Of Movie
The correct placement of music at the start and end of your movies can create a fantastic effect. The music tends to "welcome" your audience as it supports the opening title (text box). Likewise at the end of your movie when you're saying farewell and thanking your audience (if you choose to do so), music is a wonderful way to accompany the closing title.
We all love music. Yes, our tastes vary dramatically between genres but we all listen to music throughout our life and understand how powerful and emotional it can be. That's why it's nice to add music to your movies in the right places to cause emotion in your audience which helps them remember their viewing experience.
This is the second last lesson of this course (Phew! I hear your say). And adding music is normally the last thing I do before exporting the completed production. As this is the final step in creating a movie, the last lesson (lesson 18) will be showing you how to export your movie to various kinds of outputs so you can use them on the internet and in your websites and blogs.
Please watch the video lesson below.
Movie duration: Approx. 39 minutes (It's a long one, but please watch it).
