Saturated or Desaturated Colours

If you you're using product pictures or headlines with important messages it's important that visitors are able to read them easily and nativate your site. If you choose a saturated background the images and content will get lost and therefore lose their effectivness. Select a desaturted background so any images stand out.

In the example below - the saturated background makes it difficult to read the text and clearly see the products. The one on the right sells the items much better.
