Setting Up the Free List Builder SumoMe App

Step 1: Click on the List Builder app from the SumoMe Store

Step 2: Click the Free button on the right to Install

Again, it will transform into an Open button.

Step 3: Click the Open button to enter the App

You will be presented with some payment options. You can disregard....

Step 4: Click the Continue button

Then, you'll be presented with the settings for theList Builder App:

You'll notice the toggle switch: on or off (just like on an iPhone) for this particular app:

Initially, it will be set to Active or on.

If you decide to implement another SumoMe Email App, you can deactivate this one to test another. You obviously don't want more than one email app to trigger. Although, it would be fun to see. :-)

Step 5: Click the Design option:

This, of course, will allow you to choose how your email form will be displayed. This is the default email subscription (opt-in) form:

Which will appear on my test site as this:

That's cool, but a little "cheesy". Let's check out the different configuration settings on the next page of this training. Take a break if you need to! :-)

When I tried to move my icons from the left to above and below the article, I can not. It is saying that I have to upgrade to SharePro to override the default settings.

That's very unusual Suzette. For the test website I created for this training, I used a new install of SumoMe and everything was totally free. Is yours a new install of the SumoMe plugin?

Hi PJ, I went and looked. I have version 1.10. It was updated a month ago. States it is the latest version. BUT it also says that this plugin ha not been tested with my current version of wordpress. That concerns me. Does this mean I have to update my wordpress version or it is a conflict with my theme?

Great tutorial PJ, I've been looking at this one closely and will get it sorted soon. I will also bookmark this as I think I'm going to need the help getting it all up and running :)

One question I have, are you allowed to use the paid functions on multiple sites or do you have to pay for each one?
