Configuring List Builder - Design Options

The only free template is the default template, sadly.

But, you can change theSize: Small, Medium, Large or X-Large

Then, you can modify the Heading (Highly Recommended) from Join Our Newsletter to something a bit more exciting.

Okay, so, as you can see, you can also change the Font of the heading, the color of the font, the font of the subheading and it's color, the color of the button and it's label.

So, for an example here is what I changed my test form to:

Now, of course, depending on what size you chose for the form, more or less text is allowed. You'll need to test this and see what works out best for you!

Additionally, here's a really cool tweak. You'll notice that HTML is allowed within the text (subheading). Guest what you can do with that?? C'mon, guess! I'll wait! Go ahead!

Okay, if you answered "Peej, I can insert an image!!!" By golly, YES, you'd be correct!

So, by entering the following HTML code into that box, I can add in a cute wee image:

<img src="http://pureresiduals.com/wp-content/uploads/JoinNowFinal.png">

Here's how the code looks within the list builder text box:

IF you wish to center the text AND the image, here's the Center HTML code inserted:

<img src="http://pureresiduals.com/wp-content/uploads/JoinNowFinal350.png"></center>

And here is the new test form preview:

MUCH more inviting, don't you think?

Again, you'll need to test the image sizes to tweak this. This one appears a bit too small and I may need to increase it a bit, but want to ensure that the Email Address box and Submit button stay on one page without any scrolling.

After you have configured the Design Options to your liking, don't forget to click the Save button in the lower right like before:

Okay, very cool! Let's move on to the other List Builder configuration options!

When I tried to move my icons from the left to above and below the article, I can not. It is saying that I have to upgrade to SharePro to override the default settings.

That's very unusual Suzette. For the test website I created for this training, I used a new install of SumoMe and everything was totally free. Is yours a new install of the SumoMe plugin?

Hi PJ, I went and looked. I have version 1.10. It was updated a month ago. States it is the latest version. BUT it also says that this plugin ha not been tested with my current version of wordpress. That concerns me. Does this mean I have to update my wordpress version or it is a conflict with my theme?

Great tutorial PJ, I've been looking at this one closely and will get it sorted soon. I will also bookmark this as I think I'm going to need the help getting it all up and running :)

One question I have, are you allowed to use the paid functions on multiple sites or do you have to pay for each one?
