And then use the tags to control which emails are sent to the different groups.

Your autoresponder will have a way for you to add a tag to every new contact so you should create one that identifies the landing page that they responded to.

And then when they purchase a product, add a tag that identifies the product that they purchased.

Set up your autoresponder so that everyone who joins your list from your landing page immediately receives an email with a link to download their lead magnet.

When someone on your list buys a product and you add the product tag to their details, your autoresponder should send them an email thanking them for their purchase and inviting them to let you know what their experience was like.

This is very useful information.

If feedback is negative, it’s an opportunity to engage with your vendor and get them to address the issue. Let your contact know that you’ve done that. Refund requests are in no one’s interest.

If the feedback is positive, thank the customer and ask if you can use it as a testimonial. Testimonials from actual customers are like gold for promoting your product.

Send a Newsletter to Your List

One of the most engaging things you can do with a new list to establish trust and credibility is to send them a weekly newsletter.

It must be useful and informative, not just a relentless sales push.

But you can certainly include sales messages that relate to the contents of a particular issue, just not every single one.

You want your list members to look forward to receiving your newsletter each week.

It’s worthwhile spending some time finding a newsletter template that’s just right for you. As an example of what’s available, here’s a free newsletter template from Canva.

This could easily be modified into an anti-aging newsletter. Use the same title each time, update the issue number and date, include an eye-catching image with associated text and then three interesting topics.

You can add more pages, which you could use to expand on each of the three topics.

You could include affiliate links (or better still, links to landing pages on your own site) on the front page, underneath either the image or the text, or on any of the topics pages. Just keep them relevant.

With a newsletter scheduled for production each week, you’ve got a fair bit of copy to produce.
