Supplement Video Training Courses
Maybe you are selling a training course of one kind or other…A good way to add to that would be to start a Facebook Group. This can give your students a platform to exchange experiences, problems, and solutions. You can also add supplementary material for the training, and it is a way to forge a bond and get future business with these customers.
Promote Your Chats, Livestreams, or Podcasts
These days more and more marketers are tapping into the power of live stream video, using one of the many platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, or similar. You can create a Facebook Group to complement that effort and it will provide a central point for members to interact more with one another.
Establish Your Niche Expertise
Remember we covered joining other related Facebook Groups and participating near the start of this tutorial? If you make the effort to contribute your own knowledge and experiences on these groups as you gather data for your own Facebook Group, it will help you establish credibility and authority. Become a known and trusted resource and watch your program grow – it works!
Watch the self-promotion though. Most groups are Reddit on this…You can get banned quickly if you violate rules of the group. Do this out a desire to be helpful and do it without reserve. That will be noticed and you will be rewarded equally in new business you get.
Collect Feedback from Members
Another good way to use Facebook Groups is to test out your ideas on members…Think of it as a think-tank and another source of good research data for your business. You can discuss new ideas and get some feedback that will help shape the directions you will go.
Provide Customer Service for Your Clients
This is one way to use Facebook Groups that works well from my own experience. For several tools I use regularly, I keep up with content that is posted almost daily on the associated Group. It is faster than support lots of times.
If you think you want to start one for your program or product, I would keep it secret so only members that have a direct interest can see and join based on their use or purchase of the product.
Having the Group be secret allows you better control over who gets in…The other option in this case is to have a closed group, that way anyone can find the group, but make sure you clearly add who the group is for in your description.
Communication Center for Your Team
Yet one more great way to use a Facebook Group is to use it as a communication center for your business team. It can be a great tool to bring all together no matter where they are, and keep them up across all pieces of the business.
You can create a secret group and invite all employees, virtual assistants, and even interns to join,,,You canYou can introduce new teammates, sharing company updates and announce events, share success stories, etc.
Make sure that you have a social media policy in place when you do this so there is a clear understanding of what is allowed to be posted and shared on the Group site...You want to make sure what gets posted on your secret group is not misused…
We have covered a lot for hints, and now I just want to add in one final area of concern for you….That would be things NOT to do when it comes to Facebook Groups…
