WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A FACEBOOK PAGE AND A FACEBOOK GROUP?

Where a Facebook Page is what I would consider to be the new ‘business card’ these days (where all essential information about your company and what it does resides), something that is a bit more formal, a Facebook Group is a place where you can sit down and talk with one another to explain the why, what, and how of your endeavor.

The Facebook Group is more personal in nature, a community, a place for friends to gather.

Similar to forum sites, members can generate content, discuss their problems and opportunities, help each other, and provide other such support. You can share events that will take place, share files, images, videos, etc.

OK, so now that you understand the differences between a Facebook Group and Page… Next, let’s walk through the steps to joining a Group, you now know how they differ and can be useful…

There are many groups (millions) available to you, and it will help if you join some of the ones that are related to your niche and coming Facebook Group…You can take part in the conversation, contribute content, and build a name and reputation…

You also can get a lot of information as a member…You will get an idea of what niche members are looking for, and use that insight to determine just what to include in your own Group. You can see the administration rules, how posts are approved or deleted, and generally see what is good and what is not so good as you peruse the related Groups…

Take notes…

Next we will cover how to find and join Facebook Groups ==>

Nice! I'm a member of way too many groups, and I've found that telling my news feed to show me "most recent" really keeps me in tune with what's being posted in groups.
