Sometimes Google will rank photos & videos with higher rankings than content alone. That's why its a good idea to add photos to your posts. Also make sure that the photos have descriptions with keywords in them if possible because this will cause your content, be it written, photo or video, to rank higher in Google. Best wishes...

There is no such thing as luck in the world you ranked for a keyword because there was no other pages in the way so they put you on page 1

No.You are missing the point,I am saying for some reason I am ranked on page one of google because of the image not my good use of keywords.I am not implying the image is better than the keywords.

So, are you saying the images are more important than the keywords?

Hi giludi.Thanks for your reply.I just want to clear something up,I did not get this image or any other so that I could be ranked on the 1st page of google.I was doing my keywords like everyone else and was using basic tennis words which apparently got me no more.It has been by accident that I have been ranked by this image,this was not my intention on how to achieve ranking status.

Yes you're ranked on google. But did you learn your lessons on keywords here at WA. I really have some doubts.
In one of your last posts you had a title like:
Serena, Roger, Maria and Raphael pose for a photo.
Make a search on google for this and you will find your post on page ONE.

My immediate thought is you need to get far more specific than tennis. The example of golf in the training was taken as far as a specific club type and brand for an article. I think you need to focus in on something, perhaps kids tennis, teach your kids tennis yourself, how to find a good tennis coach for them, kids tennis clothes, equipment, any kids competitions, kid stars of tennis etc etc.

Doesn't have to be kids tennis, it could be any aspect of tennis but it does need some further tuning in.

How about a Category widget under the Posts? And/or a Opt-in Form widget (Easy Sign-Up plugin) to capture email addresses with the promise that you will email new posts as they are published. ~Marion

Theme dependent if you want a menu widget on right side of page. Sometimes can be altered with a plugin.
