Acceptance feels so nice!

It's what we all want, isn't it? Most of us went to great lengths for it when we were in school. A lot of us still crave it above a lot of things. When we are accepted we are no longer alone in the world. It feels good to know there are others that like us and what we do.

Conversely, rejection hurts. when you've been rejected, you stand alone against the world. It's scary and depressing. When you've been rejected, you just want another chance. Anyone who has followed my posts knows that I have ranted more than once about being rejected and how upset I've been.

Today, I want to let you know that I've been given a couple of second chances. This week 2 affiliate programs that had previously rejected my site changed direction and accepted me into their programs. I want to thank LondonLeigh, the member who showed me the way. A little while back he wrote a post about how when he applied to a program he included a few lines stating the interest he had in the program and that he was taking thorough, on-going training in marketing, using Wordpress, email, social media, etc.

When I was rejected from these 2 programs, I wrote to them asking for advice to improve my site and included similar information on my training. I then pretty much forgot about them since it had been so long. Then out if the blue they both reversed themselves this week. I thought I would share that, since you have all so patiently listened to me cry and whine in the past. Also, it sends a couple of messages: be patient and never give up, never give in!

I hope maybe this gives others that are feeling down some hope.
