I am in the process of growing my current internet business. More than that because I have been "working" on my websites as I work for others. I have been living in Costa Rica for the last 17 years. I drove here from the Republic of Michigan in a dodge mini van. More on that later I plan to write several books about the ride. It was a lot of fun. More or less. I would not do that again because of the cartels operating in and around Mexico.

Right around the year1995 I was injured at my work and had to have my L5 disc fused. Yeah OUCH. It was one more heath issue that would not allow me to do any of the work I was doing in the past. Workmen comp told me I had one of two options. They would pay for my chiropractic visits and all of my pain medications for the rest of my life or they would pay for my surgeries to fuse my L5 and they would pay me a one-time settlement fee.

The right choice was very easy to make. The settlement paid for my dodge mini van and a lot more. When I first arrived here in Costa Rica, I found out that working here was different than most of the other work I was doing in the past.

I ended several jobs at different call centers until the j-o-b ( just over broke) I did to pay rent was like 600 meters away from my very small apartment. How small is it? It is sooo small I have to go outside to change my mind. The best part is it takes me about 15 minutes to walk to work.

I no longer have that j-o-b, Gracias aDios. I work from home. YEAH for me! Kinda sorta. All of the energy I use to put into the other j-o-bs, I now put all that energy into my own business. Including my other plans.

I need to add that the name Keisi is the espanól spelling of Casey. I am a guy and my X left me and the name Keisi, she knows my real name but refused to call me any other name. She broke my heart about 6 years ago. No, it was much too easy for her to just break my heart. She jumped up and down on it until it was damaged enough to put into a small blender. She ground it into powder, my heart, which she spread all over the trash on trash pick up day. But I kept the name.

I am kidding about the jumping and grinding parts but I kept the name.

Part of the plans I am working on now is to relocate to Panama, in or around Panama City. But first, I need to have a more steady income so I can work on my own online businesses. I have many worthwhile and useful products to promote. I have learned to construct websites from my studies of Computer Information Technologies in college.

I have a few gurus I partner with and I have also joined a few of the affiliate programs. Yes, I know what to do and how to make $$$$$ online. I have done this in the past so I have NO fear that what I am learning here at Wealthy Affiliate will help me to be a major success. I learned about Wealth Affiliate when I did a search for the best affiliate programs to promote. This is the best of all the results of my search.

........Don't forget: ACTION DIRECTLY results in you making money.

Being BUSY is everything else.....................more to follow ....

G'day Casey

I laughed out loud when I read about how small your apartment is.

"it is sooo small that I have to go outside to change my mind'

Where I currently live is like that - seriously I have been in bigger motel rooms.

Hoping to build a big house on a minimum of four acres.

Hola Danni, The first time I told that to friends in the lunchroom at work. I was telling them how I had just moved into the new place. So, they asked me when will be the housewarming. When I told them how small the place is, everyone within hearing distance started a huge roar of laughter for the whole lunchroom. I thought to myself I better write that down somewhere so I don't forget!

Before moving to Costa Rica, I was living on a 9-acre rural area. I do not miss cutting the grass or moving snow off of the circular driveway.

I know there is a lot of moving parts to what we do here at WAU, but please complete all of the Get Started Here lessons as they are designed to help you build your new career on a firm foundation. Once your website is fully functional is the best time to promote, promote and promote some more.

Casey,
Not sure how I missed hitting the follow button on you...
especially, rereading your bio.
Your journey is unique and filled with challenges that you have had to find a way to grow from...
My perspective by nature runs optimistic, occasionally I'll find a way to temper that in reality with a good dose of the pragmatic, but alas, my wheel house is progress and hope.

I do not make light of your past relationship in sharing a quote, but find it interesting so I share this by Anais Nin.

"I am responsible for my own heart, you offered up yours for the smashing, my darling...only a fool would give up such a vital organ.

In life, we are consistently confronted with a reality which doesn't necessarily conform to our outlook, and I am just fine by that.
I pick out the best in me and offer that, expect others to do the same and am genuinely grateful when they do.
When I fail, and I do so consistently, I try my damnedest to learn and grow, remembering that I share the planet with others and in doing so,must clean up my messes.

So to life then,my friend. Thank you for sharing here at WA and I look forward to keeping you in my thoughts...and follow

Respectfully, David

GREETINGS Keisi,

It's Groovy that you split that scene in the Republic of Michigan to a better setup AND that you're prosperous, WELL DONE!!

I like the "go outside to change my mind".

Must have been interesting transferring to the metric system and the best time to drive through Mexico is at night usually with night vision (yet the bandidos I'm sure use them too).

The L5 problem was solved the best way since we all know meds are simply a crutch and rarely do any good other than, usually ineffectively, treating the pain. Me wife has back, shoulders as well left hip and painful knees issues and the pain meds work to some degree while the cortisone knee shots work less and less.

Thanks B-2-U for the Follow and I likewise follow You for the interesting stories and information.

CHEERS!!

Thank you, G-Eric very much for taking the time out of your very busy day to read my bio. For me, I have always been aware of using the metric system of measurement. Living that close to the Canadian border demands it.

Never ever drive at night in Mexico or in America Central. The roads are not all lighted at night outside of any of the major cities. Not only that but some of the roads are partly out or completely out and the alternative road maybe a dirt road with no street signs.

That was a ride that I drowned my 6-in-one printer/copy machine while I was crossing a river where the bridge was still being rebuilt from some hurricane that had come through that part of Nicaragua. 20 years ago. Wow, I guess I have been here for awhile.

I am very sorry to hear about your wife's back problems. I have been watching this blog and it has helped me a lot

To answer your question, WA is not my only gig. I have been in the computer information technology field of work since my college days. Here at WA, the hosting alone has made me money. Just before I joined WA I was hosting a website that I paid about $300.00 per year. With a Premium membership, I can host 25 domain named websites and 25 Siterubix websites.

50 x $300.00 = $15,000.00 - one year membership $588.00 ( even less if paid yearly) = $14,412.00. That amount stays in my pockets. As you grow in your new career you will be making more than One website. So, look at what you are doing is for the long run. A Marathon NOT a Sprint

Also, I know people in some of those countries that it's own citizens are not allowed to leave or go to other countries. Very sad but true. Hi Keisi

Thanks for the follow. Following you back.

I share a somewhat similar situation with you. Sort of cracked one of my T disc. Cannot recall which. Hurt like hell. Left me paralyzed waist down. Fortunate that my family was around and they arranged for me to be rushed to the hospital. Just in time according to the Doc as any later, it would have been permanent. Had the surgery where they added some metal. I could continue working as I was in admin. However, I quit after 2 years as it took some toll on my back.

After that, I sort of laze around the home. A month ago, I came upon WA ... purely by chance. I was doing some research on PTC programs and one site told me to ditch it for affiliate marketing. It recommended WA and so here I am. Hope to make some money with this.

Regards.

My relocating to Panamá is for business reasons and that will not be my final destination. I have a brother living in my old stomping grounds, Taiwan. The plan is for me to help him grow his firm and we will be near to Hong Kong and Shanghai. I have been wanting to explore both cities for a long time now.

I have relatives based in the Philippines also and they like the rest of family work in other countries. I understand how EASY it is to want to live in Asian countries. This is not for everybody but I like it.

Maybe we will run into each other during our travels.

Thanks for the follow, Keisi. After reading your "About Keisi", I had to follow you. At present I am temporarily disabled because of spinal stenosis. I was floored to realize just how debilitating it can be. Hopefully, with therapy and medication, I will get back to near normal. I figured I would take this down time to see if I could get into internet marketing. I have about two years to reach retirement if and when I am able to go back to work, and I wanted to supplement my retirement to be able to do some traveling with my wife. I found WA while researching affiliate programs. It seemed to be the best of the best so I though I would try it our. So far, I have been very impressed by the entire organization. I always believed that if you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people. I believe I have. Thanks again.

Hi, Keisi! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about you and your journey! Interesting journey indeed! LOL, about the heart being put into a blender (metaphor, of course, lol!). Not being funny in the manner that you had your heartbroken!! Please, do not take that remark in the wrong way! As for myself, I am still not sure where my journey will take me just yet, but I aspire much more out of myself than what and where I am now. Hey, HI! Thanks for the follow. What a story you have. And oh boy, do I know the OUCH you speak of. I've had a lot of work (including fusion) down at the S5-L1 too.

Bone and muscle heals so quickly, but damaged spinal cords take their sweet time, as do the all the body parts and functions that used to be connected to the body electricals.

I get how much changed for you all at once. Only a few years ago I could throw a head-high kick in a sparring session... but now... a few years on, I'm still regaining my superpowers. The good thing is that healing is steady, even if slow.

And by the way, I discovered that the same range of supplements I had targeted for optimum spinal cord healing and nerve regeneration also happen to make ((excellent)) nootropics. Happy coincidence!

Take care.

I want to take this opportunity to say something. I don't have a lot of confidence in my own writing ability, and when I got to the training aimed to get me started, I had to submit a post for feedback. The feedback I received was so devastating that I have not been able to write a thing for over a week. I really don't expect you to address this. I guess I just need to write it out to help me get through it, so I can get on with my effort to gain a little financial reward. Keisi, Great bio!! Inspirational! It took a lot of guts to take that trip. Sorry to read about your girlfriend leaving you. You made it very clear that you loved her.

What I find more inspirational more than anything is you had to completely re-train yourself in a completely different career. And you made it successful.

I need that "I don't have a choose" attitude.

Best of luck here at WA! You already have a lot of experience in online marketing and WA is only going to add to that.

WAU is what helped me the most of all my training. Many of the members I follow ask the same questions I have before I ask them. The answers provided by other members let me know I am at the right place.

Being able to host 25 domains and 25 siterubix websites is one of the other main reasons I stick with WA.

I agree but I don't have any to base it off of. WA is the first for me. I've been here long enough to see that it's a great place to learn without being scammed into having to pay more.

You can't beat $49 a month and get what you get here. I've read about others that get you in for free and you can upgrade to $20 a month but it doesn't get you much more. So you have to buy into a $300 package get more information.

WA is a much better deal and the "Pay it forward" idea is genius!

Hi there, sorry for the slow response - finally getting back on track - I've done hardly any of the lessons.... but have decided to focus on WA and my site more - got to get going pronto if ever going to escape the day job.

Anyway - that site was https://internationalliving.com/ - if you sign up they do have a magazine (available also as pdf format) that they will try and relentlessly market to you. I was interested in the content - ie cheap places to live overseas, but their emails were sooo long, and far too frequent, I kindof got sick of them, so unsubd'. Gingosabroad.com were a small family of Canadians that went to Ecuador and blogged about it - I think they make at least a partial living from that blog, so if you do go to panama, it would be a fabulous niche site to write about/make videos on.

Good luck!

Hola Paul,

Thank you for adding me to your network as I have added you to mine.

The members that give me the most help is everyone that posts a question or training. Many, many times I find answers to my own questions from what other members here at WAU ask.

Check on your WA page. Scroll down, on the left-hand side you will see the Ambassadorship link. when you open that link you will see the Ambassadorship rankings. I look to the top 30 as the members I seek the most assistance from. (some of my gurus) if not directly, I learn from their trainings and posts.

By the way, the person that has the most to do is who you want to follow. They know how to best accomplish everything that must be done in the least amount of time.

Have you completed any of the Get Started Here lessons yet? Have you completed your first website?!? It will NOT be your only website. But it must be working before you can start to promote it anywhere. It MUSt be Responsive to all platforms, smartphones, notepads, computer screens or whatever viewing options.

The above are online. Do NOT forget the offline ways to promote your business, your brand. business cards, flyers, newspapers, TV etc..

As you can see you have a lot of stuff to accomplish. WAU is the best place to learn how to build your new career on a firm foundation.

Hi Keisi

Thanks for getting back to me, that is really helpful advice! I have set up my website and it has some content on it but I have no idea how to optimise it for multiple platforms yet. Are there plugins on wordpress for that?

Hope all is well

thank you

Paul

Hola Paul, the theme you are using is it Responsive? That is one of the things the provider should show in the theme descriptions.

What niche are you aiming at? Who is your competition? Reverse engineer their sites. They will be your guide to setup your sites. What are your visitors needs? Why are your solutions THE absolute, most have, right NOW answer to their problems?

Your "call to Action" is your lead into making your visitors want what you have for them. They just can not live without what you offer to them. Concentrate on the bennies your product has for your niche. For each website you make stay ON topic or Google will look at your sites as not being relevant leading to not a good ranking just to start.

How are you coming along with the Get Started Here lessons?

Hi, Keisi,

Thank you for following me. I've followed you back, returning the favor.

I love Costa Rica. I've only been there once, but had quite a fantastic time and one day want to go back. It's a beautiful country even with the monkeys. :-)

So you are thinking of moving to Panama City. May I ask what draws you there? How different is it from Costa Rica?

Anyway, I wish you all the best as you continue to build your online business.

Nice to meet you.

Hola Dave, nice to meet you. Panama is the banking capital of the Western Hemisphere. You may have heard "follow the money". One of my real jobs is accounting and Panama has many more opportunities for me than here in CostaRica.

Thank you for adding me to your network.

Congrats on going Premium! So, we'll see you around the WAU water cooler, right!

Hello thanks for a follow. Is it expensive in Costa Rica for vacation rental?Great you are pretty knowledgeable of making money online. Most people they say they would help, but all they do in the end they just give advice how to do it,most people call it help.I find it laughable.Well, help is when you help to set up everything or even more,i guess online got lenient in word ''help''.Your story about your X reminds of my X as well, but i am glad you were brave to say it publicly on WA about your relationship, your working story.
Well done.
Well,past is past.

All the best,

Hola Aneta,
More time to do business is a go thing. There is a lot more to starting and running a new business than a person might think. Not a complaint just an observation. I am still working the plan.

Thank you for inviting me to follow, Keisi! Please write those books! Your writing is good - combining dark and light sides of life in your very own style. Seen from your bio alone, there is no limit where you can go with it - imho. At WA I'm a newbie, and my perspectives here are long-term. WA is the place to be, and I look forward to learning more from you.

Costa Rica is just a stop over place. Where I was yesterday it got up to 91F is why I am still here. No furnace needed. No snow removal. Food grows everywhere. The average tico monthly wages are just about $315.00.Anything more you work a second job.

Hey Keisi, thanx for all the great info! From what I have researched, the capitol San Jose would be the best climate their. In fact it is rated in the top 3 climates to live in on Earth by National Geographic. They claim because it is 1.5 miles up in elevation on an 11mile x 11mile plateau, it averages 65-75 F all year round! And if you want the hot tropical weather, its an hour drive down the mountain to the pacific surfer beach crowd, or else an hour down the mountain to Limon where you have the Carribean Vibe going on. It seems like paradise on Earth to me!!!
I hope your having a great time down their and life is good! :)

Hola Chris, National Geographic is spot on with their descriptions. Once you get used to some things here it's not so bad. I mean, it is a third world country trying to be a first world country. Not a complaint, Costa Rica is where I sleep and it has been very good to me.

I lived in Mexico for a year and I loved people and the slow lifestyle! I met some of the poorest people, yet they would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Not at all like in the States!
If I ever get a chance to come down, I will definitely contact you first as it would be great to meet you as well as learn the ropes from someone who has lived there for years! :)
