It says if you go over 5 plugins in WP you're jeopardizing your website's health. But a lot of us know there are so many useful plugins our sites need. Is there or will there b
You can certainly go over 5 plugins but just be wary of your site's speed. Check it before adding plugins, check it again after... If it's fine then you have nothing to worry about :)
1 plugin could be worse than having 100... It entirely depends on the plugin & how much it slows down your site.
Continuously checking my site speed is definitely something I will start doing. The last thing i want is new viewers or subscribers to visit my lagging website.
It is a business decision, sometimes you need the function and therefore the plug-in. I have more than 10 but I am planning to remove some as I have found other ways to consolidate or get what I want done without an extra plug-in.
Yup. I have 7 right now. I guess I should stop being a perfectionist because whenever my site health gets lower than I want due to plugins I tend to worry a little bit.
